After a leisurely stroll through the beautiful riverside gardens, a light lunch at the Victoria was just what we needed to complete a wonderfully relaxing afternoon with friends. The food was great, the staff were great and we were allowed to take our time at the outdoor tables where our dogs were able to collapse in the shade.

This hotel is on the quaint High Street in Strathalbyn on the Fleurieu Peninsula some sixty km's south of Adelaide. It has an authentic Aussie country pub ambience without the touristy feel of some of Strathalbyn's more high profile pubs and cafe's. The dinner menus is well priced with reasonable variety and the wine selection has an understandable focus on the fantastic Langhorne Creek wine region. This hotel is quaint and friendly and well worth consideration if you are looking for good honest food and great wine at reasonable prices.

Had a weekday lunch which we were pretty impressed with. Good menu and great wine list with lots of local choices which was especially great to see. Staff were super friendly and coped well with lots of walk ins. Would thoroughly recommend if passing through/staying in StrathalbynWe are so happy to hear that you enjoyed your experience with us.
