Had a hard time deciding what to choose, it seemed limited, so I just got a burger. The staff was friendly, the place was clean, and the prices weren't outrageous.

Mongoose Jamaica is more than a Restaurant, it's an experience. This Restaurant is "something different," We did something 'different' with the name as well, when we choose the "Mongoose" which has a rich history in Jamaica. Breakfast ranges from typical J
My wife and I stopped there and enjoyed Jerk Pork, Bammi, and shrimp. Delicious. Hint for my friends from states is to pay in Jamaican currency, although they do take American... Then give the waitress the difference for her tip. The waitress worked hard, especially with many friends from my wife's school days seeing us there and stopping by. But I actually date the prices and the ambience. I had often thought it would be extremely pricey but it was not bad.

Our tour guide, Sean (with Marvyn Tours), stooped is by this location to enjoy the view of the cruise port and the overlook of downtown Ochos Rios. My surprise, there was a cruise ship docked this day, but the crowd was a decent size to where we in and out within 15minutes. The view was amazing. They have photographers there that offer to take your pictures, but they donât really hassle you about actually purchasing the pictures. The photographer we had was generous enough to take pictures with his camera, then even offered to take our pictures using our own phones.

This is a nice chilled bar which has a variety of drinks and food. Located in the centre of Ocho Rios opposite Sandcastles Resort. With large TV's screening different sports and really nice Reggae and RnB tunes playing, this was a great place to come to after a day out exploring and shopping at the local craft markets.Dexter- the bar person - treated us to tasty cocktails and was very friendly and accommodating, and we didn't have to wait long for our meals.I recommend this place to relax, have a drink and enjoy the vibe! We shall definitely return next time we are in Ocho Rios.

I find a major discrepancy with the treatment of locals by many in the service industry who also cater to tourist. As if we are less of customers than foreigners. With this said, my friends and I were grossly disrecpected by a member of staff in this location.however, thanks to the manager on duty Mrs. Chairmane Brown-Henry, the matter was professionally taken care of and a 360degree change in reaction by us took place. The trainee buster Ronaldo was also very polite and helpful. Thanks to these two very specific individuals they successful saved Jimmy Buffets Margeratiaville ocho rios from losing 3 unspot customers and the potential customer base of almost 100 people. Thank you professional team members.

Stopped here for food after an Emancipation day holiday trip with friends to Mystic Mountain. Seems to be a popular spot cuz the restaurant was full. After placing our order at the cashier and finding seats we were served pretty quickly. The food was good. The service was ok.

We stopped here with a large group after we finished our excursion. The positives was the restaurant is right on the beach so the view is amazing, however there were definitely a lot more negatives. The food was cold and the taste was disappointing. We were only given 3 options of what to eat: jerk chicken, baked chicken, or ox tail. The staff seemed confused, and didnât even explain to us what came with the meal. I got the jerk chicken â it was cold and the meat was hard, the salad was warm, the rice and peas was very blan and there was no âjerkâ to my jerk chicken. I found the food was definitely overly priced, and not worth it. I would not visit this restaurant again.

My partner and I went here for dinner, and I must say from the minute we arrived up to the time we were leaving the service was impeccable. The food was delicious, the ambiance was lovely, the staff made us feel at home. They checked on us regularly. The highlight of the evening however was when Denzel wrote my proposal in the sand and lit it on fire. I'll forever remember it and the Bamboo Blu family.Thank you so much Denzel and team, I will definitely be visiting real soon and recommending it to others.Thank you Cardii86. We were more than happy to assist in making your proposal a memorable one and we look forward to seeing you and your partner again very soon.
