Stopped in for lunch at 1:30 PM on a weekday. One other couple in the dining room, and two guys sitting at the bar (not too terribly busy). Hostess seated us promptly and the waitress was at the table right away with water. The two of us ordered a beer and a glass of Chardonnay. Fifteen minutes pass and the waitress comes back and asks if we're ready to order lunch; I explain that we have not gotten our drinks yet. She says "the bartender is working on them." I can see the bartender (and had even noticed that the waitress had not been to the bar since we arrived) - the bartender was talking to the two guys at the bar and definitely not working on our drinks order. We turned in our lunch order and waited another ten minutes (twenty five minutes into our visit now). The waitress returns and informs my friend that they are out of the beer he had ordered - he ordered another brand of beer. Five minutes go by, the waitress comes back again and pours me a red wine (still no beer for my friend). I remind the waitress that I had ordered a Chardonnay, not a red wine. She apologizes and leaves with the red wine. Another ten minutes pass and not a sign of the waitress, so we got up, walked out, and went to Chuy's - great meal and I highly recommend THEM.

If you were just driving past, you might miss Savior's altogether, since it is in a shopping center. However, that would be a mistake. This restaurant is so good. The staff is always friendly - not the just-doing-my-job kind of friendly, but a genuine friendliness. They talk, laugh and are just great. They have a great menu and a nice selection of dishes. From pasta to seafood, sandwiches to steaks, they have something for everyone. One of my favorites is the Panna de gorgonzola (I think "Panna" is right). It's an appetizer of bread smothered in a creamy gorgonzola sauce. My mouth is watering just mentioning it. For a very reasonably price, hearty, comfortable restaurant, I would highly recommend Savio's.

A friend invited my wife and I here to hear a local band. When we got to the location, we were a little concerned because of the way the place looked. Parking was also a concern, but I was able to find a space. However, when we walked in, our experience changed. The place is very clean. It has three areas: the bar, an area with tables and booths, and the area with tables where the band plays. If you are coming to see the band, sit in that area; you are unable to see them from the booth area. With this being a small place, and with a local band playing, I made sure to make reservations for a table in the band area. I am glad I did. We were shown to our table. We ordered a shrimp appetizer. It was very good, not overdone. Salads came next and they were very fresh, not having sat for hours. I had a very good steak and my wife had chicken Alfredo. Two bottles of wine complimented the meal. This is one of those neighborhood places and has a regular clientele. It is a good place.

Crossroads Bar & Grill offers contemporary American cuisine in a convenient Springfield, VA location. Treat yourself to a variety of delicious dining options from the Classic American Burger to the NY Strip Steak.
After enjoying the complimentary Manager's Reception, we decided to try the Embassy Suites restaurant. It had great atmosphere- casual but great lighting and decor. Server was excellent and very friendly and welcoming. We had great cheesesteaks and onion rings as well as good craft beer. Not fancy, but very good. they did have larger entrees but we did not have those. Lots of traffic in this DC suburb and it was great not to have to deal with that to get a decent dinner.Dear Fun168, Thank you for dinning with us at Crossroads Bar and Grill we are so happy to hear how you enjoyed the cheese steaks, local craft beer and excellent service. All of us here are looking forward to your next visit with us.

We ate a dinner on a Sunday night, with our family ages 6 months to 66 years. Nice long simple tables, cloth napkins, straightforward menu, with some nice twists on your standard burger,. They also offer the standard burger for those who just enjoy that. Kid meal prices were quite nice. Join the VIP club prior to dining, as the first visit can have a nice discount, and the points rack up. they also have happy hour specials on food and drink. Our server Amy was top notch, yet all the servers chipped in as well. There is outdoor seating, which, after a strong T-storm moved in, was quickly reset by the staff. Our sons had their shakes "spiked" as one had tried in the Charlottesville venue. Everyone was happy, including the 3 and 8 year olds. We will return.

Forget 'casual dining.' That's an industry term so out of touch with how consumers eat and drink today. For premium quality and style; fare that's at times familiar and other times adventurous and a laid-back modern setting, Houlihan's is a true original.
Had a great dinner off the Chef's experimental menu - steak, ramen, and cabbage. Creme Brulee was perfect. Very nice and quiet for conversation with music playing in the background. Great service, attentive, and not rushed, and helpful with creative ideas by Kelly H.

Three of us were here recently for lunch for the first time. First, the seats in the booths are so uncomfortable, that after eating we had to cut our usual lunch chat short because our knees and legs were hurting--the bench seats are low and deep with very slim pads only part way on with the rest of the seat being bare wood. Owww.The food was average with reasonable prices; what you can find at lots of fast casual places in the area. I ordered the Raspberry Ice Tea and almost passed out with how sweet it was--I had to ask for water to dilute it just so I could drink it. They have no Gluten Free bread and their menu is super heavy on sandwiches, burgers and breaded stuff. So I had the Prime Rib sandwich with no bread. It was OK; the meat was sliced very thin but was still somewhat fatty. The accompanying fries were good. My friends both had the Crab Cake sandwich that they said was fine but nothing special. The service was OK; the place was fairly empty. Won't go back.

Waited about 15 minutes for an outside table on a Friday night. Not too bad considering.Server was super friendly, and offered great recommendations for beer & food.I tried a German pilsner that was delicious! For dinner, I tried the halibut which was incredibly tasty and almost creamy. My dinner companion opted for the mac and cheese and had no complaints. The menu is extensive at this place, and there are tons of things I want to try on future visits.I'm glad this visit was positive. Food was fantastic and the service couldn't be beat. Food prices aren't too bad either. Recommended.

I've been eating at Mike's now and then for 17 years. I must say, I've always really loved their crab cakes. And, now, not so much. There were four of us at dinner. Everyone else was pleased, but I ordered my usual crab cakes and they were truly pitiful. I'd been thinking about them for the entire 2,500 mile drive to Springfield and was SOOOO disappointed in their quality and taste. Come on, Mike's, you can do better than this.Hello,Thank you for taking the time to review Mike's. We always appreciate feedback from our guests and I am so sorry to hear that we disappointed you during your most recent visit. One of our managers would like to personally reach out. Would you be willing to share your phone number with us?Sincerely, Taniya GraysonGreat American [email protected]
