Reviews on Bar food in Spoleto, Province of Perugia, Italy. A wonderful mix of remnants from its Roman and medieval pasts, Spoleto’s history actually goes back further to Bronze Age Umbria. Today, it’s best known for its annual summer Festival dei Due Mondi (Festival of Two Worlds or Spoleto Festival), honoring music, opera, theater and dance. Among the city’s many excellent historic sights are its first-century Roman amphitheatre, the 12th-century Duomo, 13th-century Ponte delle Torri aqueduct and the 14th-century hilltop fortress, Rocca Albornoziana.

Unique, original, cozy with valued food this Bistrot near to the historical center of Spoleto. Where you are in you can forget about routine and have your aperitif or drink in the bar before your dinner. The dining area is furnished with style and the service is excellent! Good selection of wines and craft beers! Something different to have good memories of Spoleto!

I loved this place! Full of character (and local characters!) and lovely people running it. We ate here a couple of times and the food was great! And we usually had a coffee or a drink when we leisurely walked past in this lively piazza. Prices very reasonable for good food and drink, and a great atmosphere!

We were experiencing internet issues at our apartment and got talking to our neighbours who recommended we visit Caffe Letterario in the library located near the Tourism Office. After our first day of coffee, pastry and WIFI access we were hooked and made it part of our daily ritual. The staff were so lovely and friendly, the coffee was always made well and decently priced as were the pastries on offer. The cafe was so relaxing, well illuminated and we were never in any hurry to leave. The cafe also sells light meals of salads and sandwiches. A hidden gem in Spoleto.

Set at the end of a small alley, Tebro is a real find. Authentic, friendly and what looked like good selection of pastries, wine etc but we had come for a gelati which whilst not of the 500 variety scale of gelateria had a good range of very good gelati. Will be back to try the coffee.
