A rainy afternoon and cold coming in prompted this particular visit on a Friday. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the hostess and waitress friendly and skilled, and the diners appeared to be truly enjoying themselves. Once the chill evaporated from a drink, we, too, participated in the surrounding joy. Was the food outstanding? No, but everything else was perfect. It is well worth your time to visit.

I'd imagine Zorba's gets great ratings for location in the summer because it's on the lake and would be a fun spot to hang out at the bar with friends. Beyond that, I don't see the appeal.Stopped in for lunch and quickly found out there's no wait staff. You figure out what you want and order it at the counter. We asked an employee about something on the menu and the answer was "I have no idea" and they walked away. We ordered food, went and got our drinks, and when the food came to the table the employee didn't know which was which so they just set the entrees down for us to figure out and again walked away. If I had to describe my meal in one word it would be 'regret'. Not good at all.My advice would be to eat somewhere better and maybe save Zorba's for a night when you just want to grab a drink.

We sat at the bar. We enjoyed the two bartenders quite a bit. We ordered 3 different meals. All of us thought the food was excellent. Really enjoyed dinner and the bartenders. The atmosphere of this bar and grill is quite nice but the food choices arenât particularly unique. Thankfully there are lots of local beer selections so my colleague and I overall enjoyed our meal.The other hotel restaurant is quite nice so those staying at the hotel will have sufficient choices during their stay.

My wife and I were sightseeing between Spicer and Willmar and stopped in for a late lunch.First off, the geographical location is beautiful: lush country, blue lake, tree-lined surroundings, made all the more picturesque on a bright, breezy summer day.We went upstairs to the restaurant and grabbed a table with a great view.The Barkeep/Server, Sarah N, was a blur of efficiency who left no one - including us - unattended.My wife had a Chipotle Turkey Burger and loved it. I had a pan-fried, Walleye Po Boy which was cooked perfectly and was delicious. I washed it down with a tap Blue Moon.We both ordered a vegetable side of steamed yellow squash, zucchini, red pepper, and onions.We left sated and satisfied
