Small place but comfy when we were seated. Our service was very slow. Like slow motion. There was no sense of hospitality that we could feel. Our food was good when it finally arrived, but it was definitely not hot. That must have been part of why it took a long time. Then the dreaded wait for the check. The value would be fair if the other things fell into place.

Longhorns is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. They do offer call ahead seating and carry out. They offered a decent priced varied menu with delicious seasonal sides. Their Salmon and Parmesan Chicken are fantastic if you are looking for something other than steak. Save room for dessert! Their small dessert jars are great if you just need a bit of sweet treat.

Featured on the Travel Channel, this classic Reading landmark has been serving up plenty of fun and peanuts since 1924. Great American cuisine ranging from casual to gourmet. Voted "the Best in Berks" in numerous categories. Chosen 1 of USA TODAY's Top 10
We ate here Saturday night for Mother's Day. Our grandchildren love it since you can throw the peanut shells on the floor. This place has been around for 95 years. The food is always good. I never had anyone eat here and complained about the food. Great people that work there as well. I would always recommend this place.

PJW Reading is Berks Countyâs Premier Sports Pub & Restaurant! We supply it allâa laid back environment for quick lunch breaks, intimate place for a couple, sizable and roomy space for a group of sports fans, private enough for a family gathering. PJWRDG
Food is good can recommend the French onion burger. Service is a joke and the place was 75% empty. If you aren't going to bother fully staffing for lunch then don't open for lunch. 10 minute wait for hostess to show up yo seat you and an overworked waitress running around like crazy but taking care of no one. Live by the original P.J.s if they had service like this there wouldn't be any other locations. Pass this place by unless you have 2 hours for lunch. I'm sorry to hear about your experience and would definitely like to address the issues that you mentioned. Please call me (Bill) at 484-525-4400 if you have a moment. I hold our staff up to high standards and would like to make sure your next experience is significantly better.

Institutional food, on institutional dinnerware. Food comes in below diner level. The melamine ware leaves something to be desired. Better food at the nursing home my relatives are in.

Went there for a Business lunch. Overall the food is reasonable and good. Only negative is our waiter. Everything I ordered my friend got, everything he ordered I got. Had to correct him each time. I had gotten the salad with steak and the salad was very fresh and the steak was good. Also they have very good onion rings.

At Chatty Monks Brewing Company, our story is quite simple. Our business was born out of five friends with one thing in common: the need to make exceptional craft beer. Named as one of the Top 50 brewpubs nationwide and Top 10 in the Northeast by CraftBee
My partner and I shared two beer flights, so we were able to try most of what was on tap. Everything we tried was very good, either an interesting, distinct flavor profile or a strong take on a particular style. My favorites were the Double Race Against Time (milkshake IPA), which had a great texture and pleasant citrus flavor, and the The Morning Pint (American amber/red), which had a wonderful hoppy/grassy finish. The food was also quite good! We split the fish and chips and and order of Sriacha ranch wings, both very good. I'm always a bit wary of ordering fish and chips on the east coast, it seems to be very hit or miss in terms of quality, but the fish and chips at Chatty Monks are a definite hit--great flavor and texture on the breading, and the fish itself was incredibly tender and moist. Everything we saw other tables ordering also looked great, definitely worth checking out.

This was our first time at Ganly's Pub and we will be returning. The atmosphere was great, the service was excellent and the food was outstanding. We had the wings, tomato soup, shrimp and the out of this world fresh made pretzels. Everything was hot, tasted fresh and the pretzels were so soft, light and super fresh and warm. We will be recommending this place to all of our family and friends.

In the reading area for Family vacation and wife and I try to select a different place to eat each night. At the recommendation we came to coastal Grill. the place is nice and welcoming. Initial vibe is high $ but that not the case. The wife and I got the fish and chips and Jambalaya. Meal was good. The Jambalaya had alot of pasta, wish the other pieces of the makeup were larger. Wife said the fish and chips has too much breading. Side note about tv star. the wife looked up and said I've seen this man before. Turns out it was Michael Constantine. We did not interrupt his meal. was just kind of neat.ronaldbyram, thanks for the wonderful review! So glad to hear that you gave us a try and that we didn't disappoint. Expect things to be great each & every time you walk through our doors. It's pretty cool when we have celebrities at any of our locations and we thank you so much for not interrupting his meal. We hope to see you again next time you are in town. Sincerely, Pete DiCarlo. Director of Operations/Owner.
