I ate here on Friday evening. We ate outside near the heater. I had the fish fry special, which included good fish, potatoes, and coleslaw. All were well prepared and tasty. I had a local IPA, which I enjoyed. Service was prompt and helpful. Overall I enjoyed it as did my friends.

We are located in the historic Mackie Building in downtown Milwaukee. Come visit us for great food, fine spirits, good people and the history of the buildings architecture, as well as the famous "Grain Exchange" located upstairs.
Really cool bar / restaurant in Milwaukee city centre. Dropped in for some food and drinks. Cool interior, very cosy vibe to the place, nice crowd and great staff. Ended up having a burger, fries and few pints, all delicious. Just an all round nice place with a good vibe to it. Well worth dropping in if you're nearby.

Our daughter took us here for Sunday brunch, and we loved it. It seems like a popular spot on Sunday morning, but we were seated right away. The food was plentiful and delicious. Our server was very good, even though they were very busy. Our daughter said there is a dining room where the children can play, but there was a party in there when we were there. The childrenâs meals are free on Sunday, which was a nice bonus.

The redesigned Anchorage restaurant and River's Edge Lounge uses high quality locally sourced ingredients to enhance all their dishes.
I was under the impression that the restaurant was open until 9:00. I arrived just after 8. The lights were on. Doors were open. But nobody home. No host/hostess or waitstaff. Completely empty. I waited a little while but nobody came out. So back to the hotel room I went. Ordered room service and the food was excellent!I had never heard of anything such as Quebec Poutine Tots and I am not sure what every ingredient was in it but it was delicious. The entree was just as good... Herbed chicken with risotto may not be the most adventurous item to order but it was amazing! Ate more than I should have. Portions were quite large. I wish I could have dined in the restaurant and viewed the river but I still feel myself lucky to have had such a memorable meal.

Visited with two friends after we finished up a massive project. We had drinks and appetizers. I had the radler which I thoroughly enjoy - one of the best I've had ever. We had several different appetizers and ate everything. Guess we were hungrier than I thought. The food was good. The fries were not hot - just warm and some of the items were too greasy. Also we were seated in the back and the tables are too close together. It's uncomfortable to be so close to the next table.Thank you for your review. I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed your overall experience at Cafe Hollander. I will talk to the kitchen to ensure that they are double checking the frites before they leave for the table. I appreciate your feedback on the tables along the back wall, it is something I will have the hosts focus on while resetting and spacing tables every day. We hope you visit again soon!

County Clare is located 10 minutes walk from the Milwaukee Art Museum and Irish Fest grounds. Our Irish themed restaurant has won several accolades over our 15 year existence.
Staying at County Clare we decided to have dinner and drinks here before heading to a concert. Our dinner was very good and always like getting a âBlacksmitheâ at an Irish pub. Came back after the show and there was a group playing Irish music. Breakfast the next morning was just as good. Highly recommend this restaurant.

My husband and I came here for our wedding anniversary. We read through at least 10 other restaurants on TripAdvisor, but this place seemed to have everything we were looking for. The place is very nice, lots of windows and ambient lighting. Our two servers, Jenny and Tony were great. Both were very kind and easy to talk to. They were extremely fast with filling our glasses and trading our silverware/plates. The meals we had will be remembered for years to come. The bacon wrapped scallops were the best we have ever had. The filet mignon's we each ordered were extremely tender and juicy. The seasoning was spot on. And then there was the side dish we shared...the lobster mac and cheese was unbelievable! The night concluded with a surprise dessert for our special outing. Very pleased with this place, not only do we look forward to coming back, but we will be sure to spread the word to friends and family.

Went here because it was featured on a few Food Network shoes & it did not disappoint! We each had sandwiches; the Cuban and Pulled Pork. Bread was super fresh and authentic (Cuban), the meats extremely tasty plus generous portions and the fries were fresh cut. We had one of their hone made, in house dressers, key lime pie....yum!! Hubby ordered a side of crispy bacon too, amazing! We highly recommend the Comet Cafe!

We were woundering where all the people from Millwaukee gather in a weekend. As we mostly saw quiet streets in the city center. Well this beer hall could be one the places. And we understand why:- very nice and helpful staff. Truly commited to this brewery project,- great food (had the fish tacos and the saudages and both were delicious)- amazing beer! Would love to find all these beers back in Portugal...Great place to spend a morning or afternoon!
