Iâm a brunch lover who goes weekly and so was interested to try Sechelt while there for a weekend away. Shiftâs pulled pork benny was the worst Iâve had. Ever.Firstly they updated their recipe but not their menus, so the crispy onions advertised in the description was replaced with a large onion ring. The hollandaise sauce was mustard-tasting, the pulled pork was smokey and the eggs were vinegary. These flavours did not work well together and the onion ring was out of place. This is the failed experiment of a line cook trying fusion cooking. In stark contrast we tried the pulled pork eggs benny from the Basted Baker. Shift should walk the 3 blocks over and study them... thatâs how they should taste.

This place is ideal if you're staying in the Davis Bay area. We were able to walk from our accommodation, enjoy the beach, then grab a bite in the outdoorsy casual ambience. We had the roasted cauliflower, which we both really enjoyed, followed by a Mediterranean bowl for me and a seafood bowl for my companion. All good. Beer and wine were good also. No room for dessert.

Lighthouse On Location is the Sunshine Coast's favourite spot for fish 'n chips. It's easy to see why... located on Davis Bay Beach, we offer fish tacos, fish 'n chips, pulled pork & Philly cheesesteak. Great meals with a great view!
If busy, one waits for at least an hour. I am guessing the kitchen and its staff are too small to meet the demand. The waitresses are good and keep you 'watered'. One gets inebriated as a result! Food is reasonable and sometimes very good. Not always consistent. Bring a camera to take pics of the water and its inhabitants. Nice way to wile a some time.

Blue Ocean is the restaurant at Blue Ocean Golf Club, but is so much more than just a "golf course restaurant." We are open to the public and all are welcome. Locals keep us on their list of places to dine in Sechelt, and visit regularly for lunch or dinn
Nothing to recommend about this place. No welcome on arrival, no interest to inquire how we enjoyed our meals, all in a rather tired atmosphere; though more pleasant on the patio in the sun. My third time to visit and my third tested meal and not one I would order again. The sandwiches, with the ciabatta bread, are way over powered with bread. This time, I had the avocado, grilled salmon salad. Very little taste, 1/4 of a very small avocado, no flavour in the salmon, and a large load of dry greens, at $19.
