Oliver's is the perfect place to unwind and soak up the stunning cityscape. An elegant downtown bar, Oliver's provides a casual setting for lunch, snacks or your favorite cocktail.
We went here for lunch before leaving on a cruise and had a wonderful experience. We had read that they won the award for Best Martini in the USA (perhaps an exaggeration, but it doesn't matter) and they certainly deserved it. Elegantly served in a beautiful setting, quiet lounge/seating area with lots of daylight with the 2 story high windows cleverly shielded from outside traffic with potted plants. It is part of an historic hotel-The Mayflower, which displays lots of gorgeous period furniture in the lobby. Our martinis were perfect (shaken not stirred)- nice and icey, glasses iced properly and the lemon garnish perfectly cut. Good portion also. Our lunch was to-die-for artichoke and spinach dips, we should have got the recipe. Hope to return again some day as this was a return visit here from 10 years ago on another cruise

We decided to venture north to Lake Union, getting there via the Seattle Street Car. We lucked out...it was a beautiful sunny day, so we opted to sit outside and enjoy the views. It started to get a little chilly, so they turned on the heater. Our waitress was very friendly and cheerful....which always sets the tone.We each ordered their 3-course meal (choice of chowder, salad and entree). All were excellent. I had the traditional clam chowder and my hubby had the lobster mobster. Both very good and rich....just be aware if dieting or lactose-intolerant. They even provided a copy of their chowder recipe with the bowl served. You also had a choice of any of their salads to order. For our entree, we both ordered the rockfish tacos, which was good.Glad we visited the area...this is also the area where Amazon has a LOT of buildings, so if you are doing the Amazon self-guided tour, check this place out!

Excellent choice for dinner fronting Alkai Beach park with views of Puget Sound. Wait was around 45 minutes but so worth it. Pisco and guacamole before dinner set the mood, followed by the recommended skirt steak fajita with corn tortilla. Definitely was a great suggestion because the steak was tender, juicy and tasty and combined with guac, cheese, rice, beans, sour cream in a wrap made my evening!

The Red Door â located in the Fremont neighborhood of Seattle â has been a local favorite since 1988. We were one of the first craft beer bars in the country â and today we rotate our twenty-two taps frequently. Our food menu is sure to have something to
The place is somewhat spacious. Lots of wood decor, a high ceiling, long bar and outdoor patio seating available. Adequate # of tables.I came in for a late late lunch or early dinner on a Thursday around 530pm. I initially sat at bar waiting for 2 more people drinking a beer, which they have a decent selection of along with an array of creative cocktail drinks.Only the patio looked busy and inside were about 4 tables sat.I ordered from the happy hour menu which ends at 6pm and the basic menu. From the HH menu, i got Korean wings lightly sprinkled with sesame seeds, Quite tasty. Came with a side of Ranch which i'm not a fan of; waitress didn't ask what side I wanted. I asked for Blu Cheese. The side of Blu Cheese was the worst I've ever tasted in all establishments I visited in usa. Literally watery with 3 tiny crumbs of blu cheese they threw in on top - floating there. What a joke.I told waitress and she said they make it fresh there. So kudos for that, but man they really need to vastly improve the quality. Luckily the Korean wings were yummy and I passed on the blu cheese.I also ordered the Arugula Fennel Salad. Slices of apple, crumbled goat cheese, and slivers of red onions. It was decent. Not the best yet not that bad. That dish was from the regular menu and the serving portion was basically large. I probably would order it again if I had to come back to the place.Friends ordered the Cod & Chips and the Red, White, Blu Burger. She said burger was overcooked as well as the fries. Cod looked fair with nice coating, though i didn't hear anything from friend about the dish. The staff were nice and outgoing. Food delivery came promptly. Overall energy was comfortable.I would attempt one more time to try other dishes to see if there is anything good, but it probably will be a hit or miss as the dishes we ordered were a flop except the Korean Wings. That being said I wouldn't have any problems going back, solely to just have drinks.Hi Daniel -Thanks for taking the time to write a review, and for your compliments on our space, service and beer and cocktail selection. We're sorry you and your guests weren't more wowed by our food. We do make all of our dressings in house, and the blue cheese has blended crumbles of cheese in the recipe as well as the crumbs that topped off your dressing. In any case, sorry it didn't meet your fancy! We hope you'll give us another try. If you do return, and still feel our food is hit or miss, please letone of our team members know - or ask for us by name so we can make it right for you during your visit. Thanks again! Emily & Pete

TheMecca Cafe opened in 1930, a year after our sister restaurant The 5 Point Café on Lower Queen Anne. They are the longest run family eateries in Seattle, and The Mecca is oldest bar & restaurant still in existence in Queen Anne. We started serving booze
We ate breakfast here twice while we were in town. Got there right after it opened. The decaf coffee was great - strong as I like it. Typical diner fare and the breakfasts were hearty. The waitstaff was attentive. Seems like a local place based on the conversations around us. Would recommend.

Using organic, local and sustainable ingredients, our award winning burgers deliver distinctive and unique flavors. Opened in 2011 by Chef Kevin Chung, 8oz Burger & Co has become a local favorite for burger loversâ in the Seattle area. Located in Capitol
Really good food, the will make your burger however you want it! I have some weird food allergies and there is zero preservatives in the ground beef and the fries are hand cut without any preservatives. Amazing service, typically pretty easy to get a seat, always have the option to sit at the full service bar. Lots of parking close, very clean.

My husband likes a good whiskey (and I like a good whiskey cocktail!) so a trip to Radiator Whiskey was a must during our stay in Seattle. Our server was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful when explaining the whiskeys the bar has in the barrels and even offered to make us another cocktail when I didn't like mine. Nothing was wrong with the cocktail, It was just too strong for me. HOWEVER, as we were sat at the bar we could hear two of the barmen talking to each other belittling another costumer for ordering an Old Fashioned. How very dare a costumer request the most well-known WHISKEY cocktail in a WHISKEY bar?! Oh, the shame! I'd like to make it clear we were not eavesdropping and if that's how these awful snobs want to carry on, perhaps they should learn to speak quietly. Particularly given theirs is a job heavily reliant on costumer tips. Had either man been our server, I would have given 1/5 and 0% tip.

These folks are awesome. Not only was the service stellar from each person who came to our table with food or water, but the salad and pizza slice were terrific. There are dietic options available too for those who are gluten free. I loved the hole in the wall atmosphere with a full bar and small tables for diners. I used open table to reserve a place and would recommend doing that because the line was out the door for lunch on a Friday. Can't wait to go back - heard they are moving to a larger location down the block soon.
