We are here before we went to see the musical Billy elliot in the afas circus theater. The bistro is located right behind the theater. We got a great deal at the hotel we stayed at; we had a three course meal for 16 euros. The food was very tasty and we got lots of different sauces and side dishes. Service was quick and the staff was funny and friendly.

Great food. Ordered shrimps, mussels cooked in wine, burgers. Servings were large but we slowly finished them up as we enjoyed the sea breeze.

Cosy Diner-Cafe with food at restaurant level against an affordable price. We have got daily changing dishes which the waiter will tell you all about it at your table.
Disappointing though - the mexican chicken has nothing special, and the fries do not look like home-made. Good cheese cake, but small portion for 7,50⬠A drink offered after my dinner, but as I do not drink alcohol, I got nothing instead. Need to start drinking I guess ...

Crazy Pianos is a pianobar where our own entertainers are performing each night. Guests who are having dinner do not have to pay an entrance fee and are welcome to stay the whole evening to enjoy the live music and request songs!
We had been for dinner and had been told about this place and decided to try it out. 10⬠entry on a Tuesday night.... really? You can sit outside and have a drink for âfreeâ.. the seat, not the drink!!! But as soon as you venture inside, you are charged 10â¬.... not for me, there are better places with no charge to get in.... sorry, keep walking and you will find a great night out that doesnât charge entry.

The restaurant is located in the old town and is very cosy. They serve local and global beers, beside ciders and food, because it is a restaurant as well. Many locals were there for drinks which made the place happy for someone traveling alone.

My niece recommended this lovely little restaurant as it happens to be one of her favourites in Den Haag. We booked a table for Sunday evening as it does get quite popular. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and politely shown to our table. There is plenty of choice on the menu, something for everyone. Two of my party chose the ribs, one the shrimps and I chose the pot of stew, which was utterly delicious. My sister commented that her portion of ribs were ok ( tastier and more succulent in her own favourite restaurant closer to central Den Haag) my niece loved her ribs and my brother-in-law really enjoyed his shrimps. The service was exceptional and food delivered to the table promptly.

I visited Huppel de Pub one late afternoon for a couple of beers and to enjoy the fine mid-summer weather. Upon arrival, my waitress Eileen gave me a warm welcome as I took my seat outside. Throughout the my visit, she was very attentive and friendly â excellent service. The bar has several decent beers on tap to go with over 30 Dutch/Belgian bottles beers from the fridge. As afternoon became evening, the pub quickly filled up, so it might be tricky to get a good spot after a certain time. Overall, I'd highly recommend this lively establishment and would happily return.

I went here twice this week! Once for lunch (the nachos are amazing and highly generous!) And once with my sister who was visiting. We went at sunset when it was getting cooler, the firepits in the tables, blankets and amazing cocktail menu make it great, but the location makes it extra special! Would highly recommend a visit!

Van Kinsbergen is a gastropub, brewery and diningroom in The Hague (Prins Hendrikplein, Zeeheldenkwartier). We are open all day for late breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekend brunch & drinks.
Found myself with a spare night in Den Haag prior to attending a conference across town, and set out to find supper. Van Kinsbergen had earned very good reviews on TA, so I felt it was worthy of a try, and it most certainly was.I was found a comfortable table by the excellent staff without having booked in advance. The pub was busy, but certainly not too overcrowded, and had a good vibe amongst a very mixed audience of groups, couples and individual diners. Clearly a mix between locals and visitors to Den Haag. Beer was cold, plenty of draft choices, and the 'Brand' lager was welcome after an evening of travelling. I opted for the Veal Stew, and it was really very good. The menu is short and largely 'on trend' but judging by the empty plates at other tables, it was obviously being enjoyed by all of the diners. I skipped dessert and enjoyed some Vegan sweets with coffee, and as with my main, they were excellent! Overall, great value for money, friendly, welcoming and smart. Van Kinsbergen clearly deserves its rapidly building reputation.
