Find out what Bar restaurants to try in San Ignacio. It’s true: parts of Belize are getting touristy. But San Ignacio remains rustic, making it a great base for budget-friendly tropical adventure travel. Canoe on the Macal River, or walk to Mayan ruins at Cahal Pec (just be warned: it's uphill).

Our mission is to provide fresh, healthy, nutricious and great tasting food at reasonable prices in a clean and friendly environment
Initially seen advertised on social media, good photos. Place is quite small.Visited for lunch, the menu is not that extensive and nothing really that stands out.Party of 4 that had burgers and shrimp.Food took 35 mins to be served, nothing spectacular so may be good for an outing out of the norm but nothing a place you would routinely keep going back to.
Remo's has some of the coldest beers around and everyone there has made us feel at home. Wednesdays at noon are the busiest times, when lots of folks come together for darts, socializing and enjoying whatever Kasey has on the menu. If you need unbiased information about the area and Belize, you'll find it here.Happy hour is 4pm-5pmOpen 11am-Open 7 days a week

This is a review for the restaurant, not the hotel resort. Our small tour group had lunch here, after visiting the ruins at the nearby archaeological reserve. From the restaurant you can get a good view over the surrounding countryside. Pleasant ambience at the covered, open-sided restaurant near the pool. Food was good basic, we had the ubiquitous soup followed by a pork stew with the traditional rice laced with kidney beans, served with a creamy cole-slaw and topped with a strip of fried plantain. Nothing to rave about, but well nourishing.

Rumors Restaurant is situated within Rumors Resort. We have recently opened our doors full time to the general public (both local and international customers). We server local and international cuisine and are open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
I was feeling a bit ill when we stopped for lunch at Rumors so I asked if they could make chicken soup. It was a long time in coming but WOW!! it was FANTASTIC. Much better than expected and maybe the best chicken soup I ever had anywhere, It contained scads of fresh vegetables and a huge hunk of chicken in delicious broth. My husband had a chicken plate and it was also excellent. Someone at a nearby table also offered us a piece of pizza, and it too was supurb. Most of the places I ate in Belize were so so; this place was a real standout.

Stopped here after checking out a few other local spots and Mom's seemed to give more wings for the money. The waitress moved very slow and seemed like to she did not want to be there. Asked if they had internet, the waitress said yes and then walked away without providing the wifi info. The food took a while to be served but the wings with the barbecue sauce were very good. My friend ordered a Belikin off the menu and the waitress made sure she verbally added that the price went up 50 cents. Overall, we would eat stop here again for the wings but the service could definitely be improved upon.

Join us at The Bluffs, for good food with a great view, on the outskirts of San Ignacio. We are open 6 days a week, with lunch beginning at noon and serving dinner until 9 pm. Our bar is open til 10 pm Thursday and Monday and 12 midnight on weekends. Your
absolutely amazing bar away from the hustle and bustle of San Ignacio, incredible food, great atmosphere, a roaring fire, amazing tunes(they let us control the tunes) a great host by the name of Court, all the staff were great fun, the chef came out to ask how the food was(a great touch). remarkably different to the atmosphere in all bars in the town. highly recommended and well worth the short taxi from town.

We had such a good lunch here last time that we returned on this trip to Jalapenos. We had the wings and pibil tacos - both of which we would recommend. The server has the most beautiful smile and she is so pleasant and patient with questions.

We stayed at Midas so were next door. We walked over for lunch one day and were impressed with the outdoor eating area. The Belikins were among the best priced compared to anywhere else we purchased them. The food was good, not spectacular but good. Later on during our stay, we decided to stop by and try some of the ice cream we say at a little bar on our way out the day before. $2 BZD a scoop. Best ice cream we've had in a really long time. Wow! Went back several more times just for the ice cream.Service was outstanding each time we visited. I would definitely go back.

I love the restaurant in the San Ignacio Resort. The food is amazing! It is vegan/vegetarian friendly and is an interesting fusion of Caribbean, Belizean, and Near Eastern cuisine! Love it!
