Great dinner with my husband after not seeing him for 2 weeks. The waitress was great and so was our food, steaks done perfectly and lobster tail was excellent. Veggies were very good, had grilled squash and roasted cauliflower gratin. Also had a drink, the little biscuits were good too. Never had a bad meal at any Ruby Tuesday.

Eating at this Applebee's was a wonderful experience. Before the hostess let us sit down she adjusted the shades so that the sun would not be in our faces. Our server, Quintin, was a very friendly young man who was very proactive in bringing water refills. All restaurant owners and employees should visit this Applebee's to see how a restaurant should be run and the staff treat its customers. By the way, the food was excellent and very reasonable priced,

This is a hidden gem inside the Power Plant building near downtown. Once inside you welcome the transformation into restaurant. Service is good, at times a bit rushed, but still good. But we will return for the food even if the service wasn't so good. I loved the Shrimp tacos, my wife likes to try a bit of everything.
Moe and D's is s quaint location with a nice exposed brick wall. Service was fast and the waitresses were very friendly. Cheesesteak was delicious but somewhat small and cheeseburger was really tasty. Fries have a seasoning that kicked them up a notch. Leamonade is just right too. I'd try the ribs next time. Glad to see them in the much needed area of downtown Rocky Mount.

Our dinner at Tap 1918 last weekend was pleasant. We sat in the porch area which had a lovely landscape of the the campus area. It was a beautiful summer evening. Our server and service was just right. We started with cocktails. However they didn't have part of the drink our gin and elderflower cocktail. The cauliflower and Scotch eggs apps were prepared well. Dinner was pretty good. I had the pork belly curry that I enjoyed but did not finish the scallion rice and forest mushroom. The porchetta I was told was too bready. I feel it would have made a nice little dinner by itself. The home-made pastrami I was informed was deliciously made. And our little cherubs really liked their pizza and frites. The staff were all warm and friendly. I would recommend Tap 1918 to anyone who would like a lovely evening dinner.

The place is located in a small strip center with an insurance agency and another service type business in the same center. Nit at all your normal retail center like you might suspect. We had the build your own entree's...I had chicken sandwich and dining companion had a hamburger. I had caramelized onions, sauteed onions, lettuce and provolone cheese on an onion bun. I had the truffle aolli and B&B sauce (like Chick Fil A sauce) and thousand Island on the side. All were great. I had the regular waffle fries. All were delicious. My companions burger was good though he had only lettuce and cheddar on his. Next time he will dress it up more. He loved his also. He will also order a shake next time. Yes...there will be a next time :) Place was busy but we got right in. Try it as you will like it :)

So I'm not sure about other nights food. But as for casual Saturday burgers; I'm in. We have come a few times now on Saturday for burgers. They have a wide variety of gourmet burgers made to order. Even vegetarian burgers. Side of sweet potato fries and done. Check it out for a easy great Saturday lunch.

Our family stopped in for a quick bite on the recommendation of a local bank teller. Clearly a local pub with families and couples, crowded on a Friday for lunch, and very friendly service. Good selections of beer. I can highly recommend the aioli bacon cheeseburger, the smokehouse burger, and the Carolina burger. All three were prepared per our request (medium rare) and were delicious. Definitely would come back to try more of the menu.

Upscale casual with an elevated food and drink menu. Foods served can be found from all across the map, "An American Table". Great atmosphere, with beautifully plated, made from scratch foods. Full bar with an emphasis on Bourbon. Featuring 10 North Carol
My husband and I checked this place out while traveling from FL to ME. We arrived on a Sunday after brunch time. The place was nearly deserted. Loved the interior! There are TVâs in the bar area that can be seen in the dining areas as well. My husband had the pimento cheese bacon burger. It was huge. I opted for the roasted beet salad. Excellent!! Obviously the owner and chef take pride in the food they provide to their customers.

While we have the only "slow-smoked barbecue" in the Rocky Mount area (featuring spareribs, pulled pork, chopped beef and sliced brisket), we also feature thick hand-cut steaks, juicy burgers, and a wide variety of "fresh" seafood. Our lasagna is homemade
We had the brisket, ribs, pulled pork, and crab cakes. The crab cakes were a 10, brisket and the rest were a solid 8 out of 10. Beans and fries seasoned to perfection.Portions were good size but not enough to have leftovers. The chef's Texas BBQ sauce was tasty. Carolina sauce was more of a slop/mop sauce but I'm from NY so what do I know. Overall the food and atmosphere is good, service with a smile, and prices are not bad at all.I will return to try more of the menu!
