We were able to make a reservation for 16 of us for lunch at noon the day before. They had our table ready and high chairs were in waiting. This place has a pretty extensive menu and is extremely kid friendly with an excellent childrenâs menu.

Ate here with family for lunch and the meal was hardly memorable except for the averageness. Server amazingly took all five of our orders with nary a pen or paper, but that was where above-average ended. Huge place made me think that it is probably packed during sports events. At lunchtime it was fairly sparse in terms of diners but there were a lot of servers and they were somewhat attentive. Food was no better than average and in my case below par. I had sliders that were so unappealing that I was surprised that they served them. I did have a salad which was ok, but the rest of the food was so-so. You could find a worse place to have lunch, but you wonât be looking forward to coming here.

We are from the neighborhood and enjoy Brown & Loe. The owners have another restaurant in the neighborhood with a different vibe. I love the fact that it is local and they kept some of the historical aspects of the building and the updates consistent. The food is good and creative. The cocktails are great using different flavors and ingredients. There is also a nice patio behind. We try to go eat here every couple months.

Their tenderloins and their taco specials are awesome. Tenderloins are platter sized and the taco special makes for a cheap date night.

This is a decent place to hit during happy hour as their HH food selection is decent and reasonable. You get a buck off drafts which is decent but their selection leaves a lot to be desired. My issue here is the bartender on while I was there didnât have a clue how to pour beer. My first glass was three quarters full, and my next two were over an inch of head. I watched her use the taps and she really had no ideal how to properly fill from those taps. I donât care how busy you might be, filling from a tap is so simplistic and not knowing how to do it wastes beer and shorts customers. I had a salad, a pretzel, and a pepperoni pizza. All three were really good, the salad was, larger then I expected, the pretzel was done perfect.y, and the pizza was not the best but for the price with it. It seems to get packed for dinner so head in early for HH, avoid the crowd and maybe get a better bartender. Thanks for the feedback. We use customer commemts to improve.

We went here for dinner and had a very pleasant experience. The ambiance is relaxed and casual. Service was cheerful and prompt. The salads are huge as are the sandwiches so we shared one of each. The Cuban sandwich was good. The adian Thai salad was really nice. Prices are reasonable for quality and portion size.

We went on a Tuesday for lunch. The tilapia was very good so this is a constant. This time I have the chicken nuggets which were also very good and an.ample sample. A mountain of fries under lay the chicken. They were also very good for string fries. The only recommendation is that they need more parking. There were two SUV out front and they managed to take up 4 parking spaces.

54th Street is a "field trip" and culinary experience all wrapped into one package! The food is very good, plenty of it and the atmosphere holds many unique items displayed everywhere.

The friendly staff is always accommodating and helpful. I visit weekly for private, one-on-one conversations and am given ample space in the backroom, regardless of how much (or little) we order. For that alone, I am a huge fan.Additionally, the wait-staff treats every guest like a VIP. I feel like George Brett walking in to Chappell's.The reason for the Royals reference is because Chappell's has a HUGE sports memorabilia collection. You could spend days (maybe weeks) just inspecting all of the sports history, including the KC Athletics, Monarchs, and Kings!Even for those of us not into sports, Chappell's is a great restaurant.

They can't get your order right and then blame the mistakes on another staff member instead of just admitting they screwed up. I will never visit this restaurant again and would not recommend it to anyone.
