Great Bar and pizza!!!! Bar specializes in different German beers and microbrews. They have a wide variety of beer and other alcohol. I also had the barmaid make a "Dr. Pepper" shot, great job!!! Pizza is also very good. During the warmer months, they offer outdoor seating that has a fabulous view of the countryside. Can't wait to return for a cold beer and delicious pizza.

My boyfriend and I had hit the other two restaurants in Barile (il Convento and Old Stories) and wanted to try something in town for Friday night. Bar Sport was pretty much it, and we were not disappointed. The front room seems to be for takeout and by-the-slice, (relatively good selection of pizzas and a couple of calzones in the display case) and we went to the back room, which was for sit-down service. Decor was pretty basic and non-descript. TV was showing a popular Italian game show, and the only other diners were a group of local guys watching the show. Again, the menu provided a good selection of classics (I got the Quattro Stagioni, my boyfriend the Capriciosa with anchovies...both quite good) as well as with a twist (pizza topped with French fries, anyone?). The prices for food and beer were very reasonable, and the service (by the owner) was friendly without being omnipresent. Only qualm would be that the food took a little long to arrive, but it *was* Friday night! takeout was busy, and Bar Sport operates on minimal staff. We would definitely go back here for a casual dinner if we find ourselves in the area again.

If you are looking for a 'Vera Pizza Napoletana'â¦â¦ in this Pizzeria they are able to help you. Excellent! The restaurant is a little outdated and way of the road, but who cares, it is always a pleasure to find a place where the know how to make a real tasty pizza (sounds simple, is not). Bravo!
