As a locally owned small business, we understand the importance of community. With that in mind, we do our best to purchase produce, proteins and goods locally and support other Pacific Northwest businesses whenever possible to ensure weâre serving only t
Mt. Tabor has become a regular hangout for our family. With two small kids, it's hard to find a restaurant that serves good beer and food, and caterers to toddlers. Mt. Tabor does both. The beer is excellent and the food is top notch. It is primarily known for its (delicious) pizza, but the chef just recently added several dishes that compete with the best Portland restaurants. For appetizers, try the Pub Board and pretzel. For beverages, the Helles in a Handbasket is super smooth and there are many more excellent beers on tap.

Located north of Vancouver lake in the Felida neighborhood, this quaint bistro offers unique lunch & dinner options. All fish, chicken, pork & beef are hand rubbed & smoked on premise. Dressings, marinades, salads & sauces are from scratch. We are committ
We were staying in Salmon Creek area and liked what we read about Farrarâs Bistro. Mixed drinks were Huckleberry Lemonade and Pomegranate Collins, also liked Canton Cabernet. Food items included Fish Tacos, 1/2 Picatta, their seafood special and Chimichurri Steak. All excellent. We enjoyed it so well that next day we came back for a late lunch prior to leaving the Vancouver/Portland area. Food and service were at high standards. Maybe a 7-10 minute drive off I-5. Few turns and not many traffic lights.
I sang Karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights. Since I don't drink, their alcoholic offerings are something on which I cannot comment. Their "bar food" seems decent and changes with each passing season. The staff is extremely friendly and the whole place has a mature "flavor". The young people that visit act respectable and the older patrons help keep a lid on the exuberance of youth. This is a great local place.

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the burgers here are awesome. It used to be a hang out for the Boise Mill employees, probably still is, just that there are fewer shifts running at the mill now. Extremely nice waitress who also serves as the bar tender during the day.

In historic Ridgefield offering freshly made quality food and beverages. Dancing every Friday night and Karaoke on Saturday's. Under new ownership with a new menu that had new items added monthly.
I have been going into The Sportsman occasionally since the new owners took over. Have friends in Ridgefield. The menu is completely changed into a simplified fantastic tasty selections. Wait staff was always good except for one bartender who would never wait on people or smile. Blonde gal â tried to be too sexy. She would stand behind the bar just talking and flirting with male customers - very snotty attitude toward woman & couples. I was there Sunday night and she wasn't there for some reason - what a difference. They bartender on duty was friendly, fast and amazingly attentive covering the whole bar area. I can only pray the blonde doesn't come back and ruin the great vibe. Congrats new owners!

Chose this restaurant because most of the others at the casino offer only brunch on weekends before 3:00. My friend had a burger with garlic fries and enjoyed it. I had the cornbread pancake with fried chicken and was disappointed. The pancake is huge and very good; it's dense with a pleasantly crispy outside with a cornbread texture interior. The chicken left a whole lot to be desired. I ordered the regular (they also offer a hot variation) and expected to get a piece or two of juicy fried chicken pieces on top. What I got was a pile of deep fried chicken tenders that lacked in taste and juiciness--very disappointing and not a good accompaniment to the sweet, dense pancake. Won't order again. I also felt $3.75 is too much to pay for ice tea, especially since no refills were offered.

3 Peaks hosts live music on some Saturday nights, so we tried it out this weekend. Music was easy listening, and the outdoor setting where people can drink beer and eat food was very family friendly. Lots of kids were running around. You order inside and the food is brought out to you. Bring your own lawn chairs if you're there for music, as the picnic tables get filled early. Beer pints were a bit spendy at $6, but selection is good. A seafood market is next door.

The only downside of the Rose and Thorn is that they are in the Ilani Casino, probably the most disorganized and bumbling in the state. The restaurant, itself, is fantastic. We were wowed by the fact that they serve complementary meals to veterans on Veterans Day. That's class. We had the spaghetti and meatballs, a favorite of ours, and it was .totally nice. At last, people who know how to make marinara sauce. We also tried the ossobuco and found it to be as good as any in this part of the country- tender and delicious with a great gravy. Service is prompt, cheerful, and professional. The ambience is bright and uplifting. All in all, a memorable experience.
