My family (my two children, two grandchildren, husband and I) were at Mick O'Shea's Irish Pub on Sunday, the 17th of March, on St Patrick's Day and we all had a great time. I already booked a table one month before. The food was delicious (husband and I ordered fish and chips and the children the three "Share Plates": Sticky Asian Pork Belly, Southern Fried Chicken and Mac & Cheese Balls. They got a bit of our fish and chips, so we could try their food. O my god, it was so good. As you can imagine, it was a very busy day on St Patrick's day with wonderful Irish music and dance. Hundreds (if not thousands) of people came. And therefore a great compliment to the outstanding staff! They answered every question very kindly, helped in every way possible and had always a smile (try this, my dear readers, on this very busy day). My granddaughter who loved the music and had even a dance with her grandmother asked us, when we will coming back to this place, which even she enjoyed so much. Looking at tripadvisor and reading these many negative commentaries I am very astonished. Where are the commentaries of all the very happy people around me at that day? My family and I can wholeheartedly recommend Mick O'Shea's Irish Pub!!!Thank you for your wonderful review! We are so glad you and your whole family enjoyed St Patrick's Day including the food, entertainment and our wonderful staff. We always strive to give our customers the best experience! We hope to see you and your family back at Mick O'Sheas soon.

A quiet lunch would have been great . Have been here before and had good food, but not today The Moroccan chicken was drowned in an indescribable bottled sauce of dubious originThe Ranch salad was dry and unappetising

Gourmet burgers, local craft beers & more. Locally owned & operated. Established in 2015 - Fuddâs, the local business that supports local businesses
Ok it is a burger joint, possible the best in SA. Really great burgers, an excellent range of craft beers and it will not break the bank. Burger patties are large and cooked to your taste, vegetarian mushroom burgers are available. Service was upbeat and bright atmosphere. No it is not fine dining but seriously who cares. Oh yeah and killer fries

We make wine. We brew beer. We celebrate food. Victorâs Place is an operational winey, brewery and kitchen which is ideally located at The Gateway To McLaren Vale.
Fantastic food and great wines...we all thoroughly enjoyed our dinner choices and were impressed by the flavour combinations and presentation. We especially loved the crispy skin duck.....so tender and delicious!Victors Brewery has a lovely ambience ,very friendly staff and a great outdoor area too. Before we ordered our bottles of wine for dinner we enjoyed some tastings of Victor's wines....another little extra service....Try the coconut sphere on dessert menu....truly surprising !

Not impressed, food took a while to come out, I had pork belly which was dry and no nice pork crackling but a soft soggy, chewy topping. Roast potatoes that I asked to replace the mash/cabbage were very burnt. A friend's salt and pepper squid was heavy handed on the salt. Two friends had the carbonara, one enjoyed it and the other had to send it back as it was cold. Tried to have coffees /teas, no chamomile and no skinny milk - ever, this is the same every time we've visited - a $1 pint of long life skinny wouldn't go amiss. Service was with a smile but let down by the food. Even the hot plate food was not replenished very quickly....disappointing.

Ordered medium/well rump and was cooked perfectly, accompanied with veg and roast spuds, only thing wrong was I had too many roast potatoes, also had garlic bread, and good also, 5 of us had different meals, the usual had the chicken schnitzels with various sauces, and none were disappointed, will go back again

Went as a large group, all ordered food at different times, they managed to get meals out reasonably quickly, despite a large crowd, many others around also. Meals were generally well made, a little confused servers when they brought meals out but weren't told 100% what they were or spoke loud enough to announce what they were so there was some confusion around this but eventually everyone got meals. Everyone I spoke to enjoyed their meals, I enjoyed mine, well cooked and tasty. Would go again if I was in the area.

After raving reviews from close hospitality experienced friends, associates and colleagues we couldn't resist a booking at The Park Restaurant. The food was devine. Absolutely faultless. A well developed and delivered winter menu with seasonal produce to suit all clientele. The front of house service/ front waitress however needs to be re-evaluated and addressed promptly. Sloppy un-professional unfriendly service didn't not impress. This is the only area that wasn't to up to expectation. We hope that this will be taken on board as front of house services are a must. We look forward to returning soon for the outstanding food that already has us craving and salivating for more.Dear Izzabella,Thank you for taking the time to share this feedback. We are sincerely sorry to hear that you felt let down by your recent experience at The Park Restaurant. We would very much appreciate the opportunity to discuss your experience further and kindly request that you email me at [email protected] with your phone number so that I may speak to you directly.Regards,Michael MooreAssistant Manager Thaxted Park Golf Club

Seems we were competing with a "walk in wake" of 40 in the front bar as explained by the waitress. Service standards in dining area suffered accordingly . Foodwise share platter of meat, dip & pita could have been more creative. Black Angus Pie dissapointed given other reviews posted previously. Angus burger ticked a few boxes.
