What a spacious place to be with friends for an evening happy hour! Some very nice and unexpected features inside. Great vibes and welcome energy here from many! Smiles are always nice and creates a huge comfort just entering a door. Loved the tall tables and expansive bar selections for each of our party members. Great snacks, chicken Bambino sandwiches and delicious Italian beef served with all your favorite trimmings. We loved the great ambiance and this nice downtown location. The only problem is that the parking can be quite tight when you'd like to be closer to the front door, but this place is certainly worth it!

Was looking for a place to have dinner that was within walking distance of our accommodation at Comfort Inn. A number of outlets were closed and we finally chanced upon this restaurant via TripAdvisor app. Nice place for dinner. It wasnât crowded and service was good and prompt. The texture of the Herbed Chicken was good though we felt it was a little salty. Our friends raved about the fries commenting that they were superb as they were fresh and able to retain the crispness. Another dish that was lovely was the Kickinâ Chicken which a friend found to his liking.

This pub has a great beer list, knowledgeable bar tenders and wonderful food. It has the comfortable feel of wooden booths and an imaginative menu.

Quick summary: fresh, well-prepared dishes with some real talent in the kitchen. Service prompt and frienldy, but could use a bit more polish. Reasonable prices for farm-table quality. We had dinner. Most starters are fairly substantial (wings, sliders, mac & cheese, meat & cheese board, all around $10-15.) Mains include fish, meat, and vegetarian dishes, mostly in the mid-$20's - low $30's, steaks higher.) Sharable green salads with veges $12.We had the sea scallops with beet risotto ($32), which were very tasty - three big sea scallops, each of a little bed of risotto, but could have been served a bit warmer. My husband had a good chicken dish with red potatoes ($22.) We split the beet and aruglua salad ($12, which all lthe salads were priced at this evening.) It is a sharable size, but they were a little stingy on the beets. Still, all was very tasty, with talent in the kitchen and a pride in sourcing local ingredients. The food around us also looked very good, and people seemed pleased -- burgers, steaks, fish, mac & cheese.Full bar with well-priced wines by the glass ($7-$10) and a good line-up of beers.Charming, historic building atmosphers, e.g. tin ceiling, exposed brick. Dinner can be had at the bar, or it would also be a nice place for drinks and apps. Our service was friendly, and helpful. A minor quibble is that he would sometimes break into our table conversation when we were mid-sentence. I know enough about the business to know that they need to keep the tables moving, but it would have been more courteous of wait a sec for a more appropriate break. But this is also to say that reservations are recommended. The place and bar can fill quickly during prime times. One more minor quibble - when a place charges mostly mid-$20 - into the $40's (steak), and portions are such that an additional side or salad are advisable, it would be nice to see bread, or even breadsticks, on the table to go with a starter, or if there is a lull in the action. So, I'm sure we'll be back as there is real talent inthe kitchen, but it is still just short of a 5-dot rating in my book.

ate there last year and liked it. the food was good, great selection of beers on tap, reasonable service. this year not even close. the server was clueless. the selection of beers poor. and an ok burger was destroyed by disgustingly sweet bbg sauce (yes, i specifically asked if the sauce was sweet, and was assured it was not).

Went here for lunch on August 22nd. Had to have lunch so I went here again this year as I did last September. The bar maid remembered me which is nice. Had a burger and a couple of beers and watched the women under age 20 between Japan and Spain, Japan won 3-1. They didn't have regular Leinenkeugels but I had a shandy which I didn't like. Burger and service were great. Will return next time up!

Joey's Yardarm is a seafood bar and grill located in Racine County.
First time Iâve been since Joeyâs took over, the âchainâ is reliable, consistently good food. Love the fish fry and beer selection. Atmosphere is nice, place is clean, service is excellent, and of course it can get busy so with it being smaller, come early or be prepared to wait especially so on fish fry nights.

Went with the Captains Platter. They were out of Perch Filets, and replaced with Perch Patties. I bit into one of the Perch Patties and it was like chewing a rubber band - only to discover that it wasnât cooked. Also, they used beer batter on the shrimp - making the shrimp look much bigger than they were. Finally, the first three choices of craft beer that I selected were not available. We did talk to the owner, and he comped a few of the meals. While we enjoy patronizing this establishment, as you can sit outside and enjoy the harbor. It literally left a bad taste in our mouths.
