We found this little gem in Punta del Diablo coming back from a walk to the lighthouse of the Viuda beach. The sunset from the terrace is amazing, and the food we tried was delicious, fresh and all homemade by the Italian guys that manage the kitchen. We started with the best bruschetta Toscana ever, the bread they bake is amazing! Then we had a eggplant parmigiana and Bondiola cooked in dark beer, both were really tasty and delicious! We had a long chat with the owner that was very helpful with the beer tasting and made our night unforgettable! They also had live music later on the night but we were too tired for the long beach day!Great job guys, best spot in Punta del Diablo!
Small restaurant with a terrace, very friendly staff and DELICIOUS food!!!We were with children, we had a dinner. Grilled salmon and pesca Alta mar were amazing! You have to try them. My daughter had chicken with mustard sauce, really good. We had some gin tonics... really good idea to go here and have a dinner or lunch. I cordially recommend. Prices are similar to prices in Uruguay.

The restaurant is at a point with many huge rocks so the view and sounds of waves coming in are super relaxing. We got the veggie tacos (we are vegan, and they were great) and some caipirinhas. Live music occasionally also. Important: they only take cash or Visa debit.

Ended up here after an asado at a hostel and ordered a jug of sangria. There were some super strength red chilis on the bar which I immediately regretted eating, although it was very funny. People brought their guitars and were singing outside. Great placeHi, I am sorry about those chilis, you must have managed to get the only hot ones we managed to find in all of Punta :)) not an easy undertaking trying to buy chilis in Punta, I can tell you! Thanks for stopping by!

Since Dec 2010 Arrai Beach Bar is definitely a meeting point in Punta del Diablo. Its panoramic terrace offers the best view towards the hill of the Fishermen, the rocky point and the hill of the Rivero simultaneously. A simple menu with original dishes,
I stumbled upon Arrai without having seen the reviews on Tripadvisor. There are not that many bars literally on the beach but this one has a perfect location. The wine is excellent (can't say that of all the places I visited there), the food is yummy (really enjoyed the eggplant dish) but the family that runs it, two brothers, Nacho and Pedro and their sister Pepi make it that you want to return. And Nacho is actually a professional musician and orchestra leader, I really appreciated his input in music there.Go there and stay there!
