My husband and I recently spent 3 nights in Manuel Antonio and ended up at Cafe Agua Azul twice. There were so many different options on the menu that we wanted to try that we ended up going back. The food and service was excellent both times.

The staff at the Rico Tico restaurant located within the Si Como No Hotel was top notch. We had the pleasure of getting to know Jorge, Marcela, Oscar and Allen during our stay. They went above and beyond to make sure our family was taken care of. The service provided by them made us feel incredibly comfortable and welcomed. I agree with the rave reviews of the cafe. One thing I will add is that we had breakfast and dinner and enjoyed both. The added bonus was the visit from 4 sloths our first evening! The staff spotted the first ones and told everyone about it. You get views, wildlife, good food and excellent staff. If youâre staying outside Tulemar, I recommend trying to come to the cafe as a top pick in the area. Not sure if you can??

I am a real burger lover and always try to find great burgers everywhere i go. I saw this place and read some good reviews so i knew i had to give it a try. The menu looked great with a lot of options but the burger i had was just ok and the bun was especially terrible, it was too dry and fell apart after 2 bites. The price is very high and it doesn't even come with fries, i really think it wasn't worth it and i dont recommend it at all. It seemed to me that they really try to make food that would look good on Instagram instead of good quality burgers which is a shame. 80% of our Burgers are priced between $7 and $14 which is NOT expensive, it is about the same price as the Carls Jr Hamburger Chain or other restaurants in Jaco. Here are some FACTS for you.... We offer the Biggest Burger in Costa Rica, the Hottest Burger in Costa Rica, the Most Expensive Burger in Costa Rica, the Tallest Burger in Costa Rica, the Most Exotic Burger in Costa Rica and the Meatiest Burger in Costa Rica and one of the Largest Burger Ranges in Costa Rica with over 37 Different Burgers on our Menu. We were volunteering at the nearby Reserva Playa Tortuga and were having a wander in the local area when we saw the signs for the Bamboo Rooms. As we were walking the 'only 500m to go' signs made us keep going when otherwise we might have given up, not knowing if it was open or not. Quite a lot of ups and downs later and we finally made it, hot and sweaty, to the Bamboo Room where the owner came and chatted to us.We had wonderful cool drinks and ice creams and sat in the bar overlooking the most amazing views over the tops of the trees in the valley below and out to the sea where our volunteering sea turtle patrols took place.A wonderful find and one that we hope other volunteers to the reserve will also make the trek to now that they have the fliers we took back :)

To be honest, we were hesitant about entering another brewery/beer establishment because our experiences with other breweries were subpar. But after agreeing that we just aren't club people, as we stood in a club, we decided to try Beer House out. It was a GREAT decision. Daniel was extremely friendly and the other patrons were too. We talked about our other not so stellar experiences and how we didnt have high hopes for this location. Daniel's selection got me excited about trying a couple other locations before we leave. The options were selected with care and a good palette... It shows. I HIGHLY recommend stopping by. It's a great escape from the Jaco hustle and bustle. The vibe was cozy and the pizza place brought the pizza to us. He took care of all our needs. Thanks for your positive review, I really appreciate it. One of the great pleasures of Santa Teresa is outdoor dining, and it's even better when the beautiful restaurant is on the beach.
