Brasserie Provence is a local family-owned and operated restaurant offering casual, upscale dining and traditional French cuisine with a South-of-France flair. A large selection of Provençale and classical French dishes offers something for everyone at an
There are many things to like about this place. It is attractive, the table spacing and acoustics keep it from ever being too loud, and the service is good. The pricing is generally appropriate for the type/quality of food, and the serving sizes should satisfy. But at least on this occasion, a few things fell short. Firstly, they charge $2 per basket for bread. I've never been charged for plain bread anywhere and found this very weird for a restaurant of this caliber. They also charge $3 for substitions of sides that are all priced the same if you order them a la carte. As to the food, we started with calamari. If there is any common complaint about calamari, I would guess it's that it can easily be overcooked and chewy. This was a good portion and quite tender and well seasoned, but it was actually too soft. The coating lacked a satisfying crispiness. I had the mussels and frites. It was well prepared and the mussels were sweet, but the wine cream sauce was rather thin, screaming for a bit more cream or homemade mayonnaise in the base. My hubby's pork chop was delicious and perfectly cooked, but his augratin potatoes were under done. We skipped dessert. It's a nice place, but they need to drop the petty charges and pay attention to some preparation details.Hello Leslie, and thank you for dining in Provence. We are very sorry that your husband found the gratin au Dauphinois accompanying his pork chop not to be cooked to his satisfaction. We would have replaced it immediately had he mentioned this to me or to his server. I would also have liked to address your other concerns while you were in the restaurant instead of on this public forum, but here goes: Firstly, we serve artisanal French baguettes from Ghyslain, not plain bread, and include a small charge for our bread baskets as do many other restaurants. Secondly, Chef Patrick designs our menu so that all of the flavors on the plate complement one another. Guests may of course ask for a substitution, but we charge a nominal fee for doing so. And finally, as for our authentic and very popular Mussels Marinières, which is my grandmother's traditional recipe from the south of France, there is a substantial amount of cream already in the dish, and putting mayonnaise into it would be a travesty.

I had a 1/2 chicken dinner. The 2 sides were OK but the star of the meal was a 1/2 chicken BBQed & smoked. It was simply delicious. The portions were large enough that I took home 1/2 my meal. I ate at the bar and the bartender was terrific.Thank You so much for your kind words!! We really appreciate your support of small, locally owned business! Love, Your Momma's!

Congested location to get to sometimes. Same thing inside. Sometimes have to wait for a table. Sports bar type atmosphere. Great pretzels. Enormous selection of beer. Suggest avoid busy times for a wonderful experience. Prices average. Service is excellent. Ample parking. Will return.

We had a Living Social deal for Karem's. It was well worth the purchase. I had the fish dinner with green beans and french fries (they also have sweet potato fries), while the wife had the shrimp with mac & cheese and potato salad. Both were very good entrees. Tea is unsweetened but sugar is available on request. Service was very good as well. A nice small pub with good atmosphere.

Neighborhood New American Restaurant/Whiskey Bar serving clean and local chef driven food from executive chef Ming Pu along with a wide variety of bourbon and whiskeys.
A recent management change in another restaurant in the neighborhood led us to try 502 Bar and Bistro again and boy are we glad we did. Our service with Dustin was top notch. Definitely a step up from previous visits 6-9 months ago. The new menu was diverse with sandwiches, bar fare, as well as dinner plates for the more sophisticated palates. The food itself was absolutely fantastic with the portions extremely generous. The price was fair for what we received. We will definitely go back - especially if the Chili (w crackers) returns to the menu!

A restaurant that loves beer and a bar that loves food. Over 20 craft beers on tap, big burgers and the freshest sushi in town. Your go-to for lunch, dinner and late-night, Drake's is a free-wheeling, fun-loving kind of joint. A place to hang out and let
We arrived on a Sunday evening (trivia night) when they had about 1/3 open tables, so there was plenty of seating. We waited at least fifteen minutes before a server ever came to our table, then we waited an additional 1.25 hours for our meals to be made (sushi, turkey sandwich, & mini cheeseburgers). Once we were finished eating our meal, we sat there another thirty minutes just to get our bill. With three children at the table, that is WAY too long. Our waiter would completely disappear for 20-30 minutes at a time, never offering refills asking if we needed anything else. Good Afternoon,Please allow me to apologize for the disappointing service on your most recent dining experience with us. We strive for 100% guest satisfaction, 100% of the time and didn't live up to this statement. If you could please provide the best phone number or email address, I would like for the manager to contact you about this feedback.Thank You,Angie [email protected] Guest Relations

I've eaten here many times. Super casual located on Harrods Creek. I love eating outside during warm weather and watching all the boaters pulling in to pick up their to-go orders. I love their fish sandwich or fish dinner. The cole slaw and country style green beans are excellent too.

I dined inside Captain's Quarters with a group of 10 and our server, Sydney was fantastic. She kept everyone's bills separated and made sure our drinks kept coming. I ordered the margarita pizza and it was delicious. Everyone else commented that their meals were tasty as well. The atmosphere is very nice with great views. When I was leaving the parking lot, there were 3 cars waiting for my spot!!! The place was packed!!! That should tell you something.
