My friend and I saw some outstanding Blues music, Michael Mulligan from Austin Saturday night. To get a table; we went a little early and decided to have dinner. Tiffany was an outstanding waitress. Even though we had a pretty long time to wait to get our dinner; it was worth the wait. I had grilled drum and two gigantic shrimp; bigger than I have ever seen before. The food was outstanding!!! Their grilled veggies were some of the best we had both eaten. The only negative part of Giggity`s is they still allow smoking; which my friend and I hated.Besides the smoking; the service, food and music was very good. I wish Giggity`s would be like most bars and ban smoking for non smokers like us.

Glad they made it thru HARVEY. Loved the truck out front that said "Nice Try Harvey" a beer joint for locals and others, only one GAFF.

After a long day on the beach with our dog we looked for a dog friendly spot for drinks and grub, only a couple place to choose from. So glad we chose Stingrays. Not much outdoor atmosphere but the patio was covered and shaded. They brought our dog a fresh water bowl as soon as we sat down. We ordered our cold beverages which were quickly delivered Was surprised at the menu selection we ordered the buffalo shrimp, Cali burger and pulled pork sandwich. The buffalo shrimp were delicious loved the blue cheese and Parmesan topping on each. The burger was freshly made well seasoned. And the pork was a little sweet for our taste but still very good. Each sandwich came with warm fresh cut chips. They called them kettle chips but were cut more like thin waffle chips but they were tasty! Definitely will be on my list for a return trip !

Went to Black Marlin last evening with friends for a birthday celebration. As always, it was crowded but the food was worth it. Blackened redfish with grits was outstanding. I'm not a big grits fan, but the way they fix theirs, they are great.

they have a good band and solid cold beer. It is the sort of place that you see in the Keys and they have enough room to relax and watch the boats come in

We were able to sit outside with no wait. Dog friendly on patio. I ordered a double cheeseburger; which was very delicious and hot the spot! A friend ordered the fried shrimp basket; she loved it. A friend ordered the fried shrimp and fish basket; not a fave of the fish though. Another friend ordered a sausage pate and enjoyed it. We had a great waitress that gave us cones for the soft serve vanilla ice cream. Would for sure go back. :)

We come to Port A yearly and have done so for years. Regrettably, I hadn't tried Virgina's. Power was out to a portion of the island, including Virginia's, yet this place was electric. We were told immediately that power was out, that they could still serve cold plates and the beer was iced down. We ordered beer, peel-n-eat shrimp and smoked yellow fin tuna dip. The shrimp had a bit if seasoning that didn't mask the shrimp. The tuna had a slight hint of smoke with great mix of heat from jalapenos. Soon after getting our selections, the power came back on and we marveled at how it came on before the first pitch of the ASTROS ALDS started.Great views of boats, Gulf of Mexico and an innovative menu.

I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner at Moby Dick's. The food is typical island fare, nothing fancy but large portions and well-prepared. I got fried shrimp and found it to be tasty and satisfying. The service was friendly and efficient. Moby Dick's is priced about the same as other island restaurants. The pirate decor makes it a fun place for kids and adults alike.

Service was good, however, a bit pricey. Location was on a marina, but really no view of anything except boats. Had crab cake sliders which were pretty good, but somewhat bland. Husband had shrimp po boy and also thought didn't have much flavor. Really sick that night and don't know if that was coincidental or not.

We wanted to have a few drinks and a bite, but there were two of us being joined by three more. Well, they would not let us put tables together to sit as a group! And the bar area was almost empty! NOT an issue of available tables... We were also trying to be courteous not taking up a large table for a few drinks and bites. We did fudge it in our seating and order some snacks, which were very tasty.Food good.Management bad.
