I was really surprised to read other reviews about the staff. I came here twice, with different bartenders, and the service was good. This was my favorite place to come for cocktails in Plovdiv. My first night, I asked the bartender for a cocktail menu. He said, with a smile, "I am your cocktail menu." After telling him what kind of liquor and flavors I like, he recommended the Basil Blast. It was artfully made and delicious, and at 8 Lev a drink, very reasonable compared to Sense (I know, totally different crowd, but I was happy to have the same quality drink at half the price). The tiny place is charming and chill, with a few tables on the sidewalk to make for an wonderful, atmospheric experience. This place is not clubby or particularly high energy, it is more of a chill and relax with a solid cocktail, kind of place. In short, EXACTLY what I was looking for.

This restaurant in central Plovdiv, right on Stefan Stambolov square facing the fountain has just about everything you'd want. There is nice outdoor seating on the square, indoor seating for bad weather, a diverse menu with pictures (good for foreigners), cold draft beer, home made lemonade and great prices. It's not gourmet and also not expensive. The menu is quite diverse and includes, pasta, pizza and several pages (again with pictures) of sushi. We enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinner.My favorite is the "forest salad", the spaghetti bolognese and the ham & cheese breakfast sandwich.The service is not perfect and sometimes you have to wave down a server, but we had no problems. Will return again when in Plovidiv.

I have reviewed this restaurant several times before, but never under the 'Landmark' monica.This is in a great position, on a main road, massive car park shared by Homemax and Deichmann amongst others.The menu was always extensive and beautiful in it's choices, but they have recently added some new dishes.OMG they look truly outstanding.My two friends had straight sushi, I had chicken popcorn and a Happy Caesar. All dishes were absolutely superb. Hot, tasty, great portion size and delicious.Staff were superb as always.We will always return to our 'special' place.Thank you for the good words. Great place to grab a bite, have coffee during the day or drinks in the evening. The interior is pretty cool and the waiters are polite and friendly. The cousine is great, at least everything I tried there was delicious. Prices are reasonable.

If you are planning to just grab a beer and meet some friends, this is the best place in town. The menu includes enormous amount of beer types, serving every taste. Good pub food is also a part of the menu. What I like is that the bartenders and waiters are always there to help in choosing a good beer, as well as advise on the food choices.Be advised that the place is very popular and you would probably need a reservation in advance, especially on Fridays and weekends.

First of all the facility is very nice. Huge, looks brand new, very attractive. Staff seemed friendly but distant and inattentive. Good beers! (One would hope, right?) Asparagus and cheese soup were both good. As was the tomato/cheese/pesto salad. We also ordered the potatoes & broccoli in blue cheese sauce and the Jagerhof Wurst platter (6 different sausages). Both were served lukewarm, which was disappointing. We could see that dishes would sit on the counter coming out of the kitchen for a while before waitstaff came and picked them up. Room for improvement here!

A convenient restaurant if you are staying at the Grand Hotel Plovdiv. I ordered chicken on skewers with a salad and fried potatoes. It was ok and provided a reasonable meal but two of the chicken pieces were raw when cut open.The young waitress was very good and efficient.I would return but be more circumspect about the food I ordered.Thank you for your words, your opinion is very important to us.
