Busy casual place with unbelievably low prices. Cash only, but ATM on the premises. Often a wait, but you can sit or stand at the bar (also busy) until called for your table.Varied menu. No outside dining. Plenty of parking.

Becker's Corner is a great place to go for casual dining. You can get tacos, soups, chili, entrees, interesting appetizers, and lots of choices from the taps. The space is cosy without feeling crowded, and the noise level is very good - no problem hearing the conversation around the table. There were plenty of people in the restaurant and at the bar, but service was prompt and professional. If you're looking for a place where the locals go, look no further than Becker's Corner.

Stopped in for dinner. Three people took our drink order and none of them brought our drinks. Finally got our drinks and ordered. The calamari was rubbery and had been frozen. I asked for Bleu cheese on my burger and they put Bleu cheese salad dressing on it. Terrible. The Margarite pizza had canned tomatoes on it. We had to go inside-we were on the patio-to pay the bill because our waitress was sitting at the bar having a drink. The bus boy apologized for the poor service. He was the only good thing about the meal. Never going there again.

Ever tried stopping at the next place that serves food? We did and were pleasantly surprised. Definitely a tavern first with a bar full of locals enjoying their lunch. We had the triple decker grilled cheese. Wow! A lot of sandwich. The soups are home made too. Best stop in town.

We needed a place for lunch after a morning at the Hospital in Doylestown but really didn't want to do the Doylestown scene. A little Trip Advisor research and we found this wonderful place. The food was freshly sourced, local ingredients and prepared in a truly German way. There is a good selection of both German and American beers. Lunch on a Monday was pretty sparse, but our waitress told us that reservations would be needed for the weekend. I can see why. A bit higher priced than some other places nearby - but you are getting good food/drink for what you are paying.

We were there with friends recently. The food was very good. They have live music and it is a local establishment. I had the baby back ribs and the meat fell off the bones. It was very tender and delicious. Some others had Pork Loin dinner and it was outstanding as well. The service was a little slow for a slow night, few people there but I would assume they take their time in preparation. I will go back.

Went here with another couple and everyone liked their food. It was really nice decor inside and wasn't crowded. Will go back.

I've ordered baked beans at a local BBQ restaurant in Doylestown which were terrible, but the Gardenville hits them on a high note! Delicious, great service & al fresco dining on the porch. A bit noisy w/trucks & motorcycles driving by on Rte. 413! My hubby had the prime rib french dip and it was wonderful. Hershel/Jimmy smokes his own meats. We will be back!

Went for an early dinner and sat at the bar. Both bartenders were superb, nice, and made great drinks...attentive as well...keeping us posted on on food. The bayou shrimp app... I could have had seconds and thirds it was so good. The teriyaki salmon delish. Not sure what took us so long to finally go here. Awesome pumpkin cider on tap.

On Friday night we went to dinner at the Piper Tavern. They reopened after taking about a week off for some renovations. The place looks freshly painted. The menus have been updated. The menu is interesting. It has their old favorites, averaging about $25.00 including salad. However, they've added a category called small plates, which average about $15.00 and are anything but small! Apparently small means no salad! The menu also includes sandwiches and burgers. We both went small. I had the filet mignon tips on garlic bread with mash on the side. It ran about $16.00. It was perfect. My wife had beef stroganoff, which ran about $14.00. It came with a green salad, after all. It was good comfort food. It was also quite large.I had a gin and tonic to start and a glass of merlot with dinner. The Piper Tavern does a very good job. Service is friendly and efficient. There aren't really any negatives I can think of. We like it a lot.
