Now this is Texas! What a fantastic Disco Dive Bar, with LED dance floor & karaoke nights. It feels likeâSaturday Night Liveâ all over again. Walls and ceiling beams draped with over jubilant customers underwear, Great selection of local craft beers, try the Austin Amber if you are not an IPA fan, or better still the Jell-O shots. The bar staff are friendly and helpful.
Worst Chilis. Service awful. If you see my other reviews, I'm not a picky person. We sat forever before someone greeted us. Ordered a glass of wine and draft beer, pretty simple 10 minutes went by....15 minutes and finally we got them. No water was served, had to ask. Dinner was awful. Burger dry. Shrimp tacos even worse. Table was dirty. Waitress didn't even ask if we wanted another drink. Will never go back.

At Marshallâs Tavern, itâs all about great drinks at good prices in a friendly Austin atmosphere. As a favorite neighborhood destination, thereâs nothing we enjoy more than the company of our community. Thatâs why we offer drink specials every night of th
Clean and friendly atmosphere. Plenty of game machines and they have space enough between them that you don't feel like you're sitting in your neighbor's lap. Staff performed their job admirably and consciensously. The only thing keeping from rating Marshall's a 5 is the lack of any sort of smile on the bartenders face. Her face looked as if she wanted to be anywhere but there. Not a good look when interacting with the customers

Tried Bombshells for lunch. The decor was pretty cool. Had the club sandwich and a Uncle Spam sandwich. The sandwiches were average, the service was ok. We would go back to watch a sports event. Plenty of TV 's with good pictures. The servers were wearing outfits that will appeal to the guys....think Hooters or Twin Peaks.

My sister and brother-in-law brought me here. It was crowded and a 10-15 minute wait on a Friday night which hinted this is a popular local establishment. I cannot remember my exact choice of food, however, I do recall that I had raw oysters as an appetizer, and later fried breaded oysters and shrimp, all washed down with a couple of glasses of draft beer. Yummy!!!

.......the service was horrendous. We waited 20 minutes for somone to come take our drink order and acknowledge our presence. Finally a manager came by explaining they were busy. REALLY!? It's Cinco de Mayo and you are seriously understaffed and that was a mangement problem! Keeping in mind I was a restaurant manager 23 years 13 of those in a mexican restaurant, Cinco de Mayo doesn't sneak up on you is the same date every year and ya gotta be ready. Once we got a server we did a little better and the most annoying person on the staff was assigned to help so although better it was annoying...... The food although was delicious and served very hot as mexican food should be. I will go back just not on Cinco or another big eating out day like mother's day Management here more interested in their employees happiness( lack of adequate staff, (After 23 years I know the server mindset)), instead of satisfying customer needs. Not a great visit.
