Hamilton Tavern is home to one of the best burgers you will find in Baltimore. Get it with bacon and egg, and don't put anything else on it other than what it comes with. If it was supposed to have may and ketchup etc it would already be on there. You see what I am saying right? They also have some of the best fried chicken you will ever eat. Along with a changing seasonal menu, you will find a great selection of local and regional beers on tap. This is a tavern, not a bar. You will not find 10 big screens showing all the games. If there is a game on, it's on one modest little screen, and the only thing on it, is dem O's hon.

Had an early Saturday night dinner with friends. Delicious food and always busy. Service was good, staff was friendly.

I wasn't expecting much when my son suggested this spot for lunch. The building is on a down on it's luck stretch on Belair Rd. and is nothing fancy. Parking lot full of pot holes.Nonetheless, the food was very good. I started with a half-half soup: traditional Maryland Crab Soup, full of veggie, floating on top of Cream of Crab. Loads of crab meat. The soft shell sandwich was excellent. Fries dusted with Old Bay. Cold Natty Boh on draft. Ah, yes. The Land of Pleasant Living, indeed.

My husband, son & I made the 1/2 hour trek to this once-wonderful neighborhood gemrecently and left shortly thereafter. I had called at 9:30 in the morning to make a reservation and was SPECIFICALLY asked if we were going to order sour beef for dinner. I said that, yes, all three of us would. We arrived at 6:30 that same night and had to wait 20 minutes to be seated. I guess making reservations meant nothing to them. Once we were seated, we waited another 15 minutes before a waitress came to the table to take our drink order. (There were three waitresses, but the way.) By this time it was well after 7:00 p.m. when she arrived back with our drinks I said we were ready to order dinner and when we did she said they had run out of sour beef at 5:30. We were bitterly disappointed. Shortly thereafter, we paid our drinks bill and left. When a restaurant is KNOWN for serving sour beef only twice a week, Thursdays and Sundays, it better have enough sour beef until the last guest leaves. This was an egregious mistake.I am sure The Valley View Inn has a loyal and dedicated following but we will not be back...ever! The Silver Spring Mining Company on York Road in Hunt Valley, Maryland, has delicious and bountiful sour beef.

Have been eating here for decades, it's food has never slipped. No wonder it carries such a lunch crowd every day! Service was a bit grim, but the fare was excellent. Would note the Blackened Grilled Scallops. My companion delighted in his steak- done to perfection. The place is loud but it's the sound of people having a great time and enjoying dependable good food. An added bonus- the place is a real bargain!

The Bowman has been a staple in the Baltimore area for over 30 years. Known for their crab cakes, which were called "the best in Baltimore" by Baltimore Magazine, The Bowman also boasts a substantial menu, certain to please the pickiest "foodie". The prop
My husband and I were part of a large group here for a buffet lunch in a private room following a funeral. Beverages were available when we first arrived however I wish they were served in a larger glass. The ones offered only held about 8 oz. which isn't much when you have ice added to them, therefore requiring constant refills. The food was average - rolls, salad, baked chicken, lasagna and green beans. Desserts were good - a couple different types of cake and cheesecake. But the main problem was the temperature in the room. When you know a large group is coming you need to lower the temperature on a 90 degree plus day. The back of the room where we were seated was very warm and the overhead fan did not work. Many of our family members went to the bar to cool off, which took them away from reminiscing about the deceased family member with family. We are going to pass on coming back for dinner on our own.We appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are sorry to hear your time was not as it should be. We hope you will change your mind and come back to give us another try soon.

Love this place near Towson! Good food, good service and cheap drinks. The Mexican pizza is a great appetizer you can share with a friend. I also recommend the quesadillas with a drink during happy hour. Great place to go after work if you dont want to make your own tex-mex at home!

"McFaul's" provides an Irish undertone and a subtle insight into the atmosphere and cuisine we will provide. "IRONHORSE" was a term used by Native Americans to describe locomotives and will emphasize the Ma & Pa Railroad heritage. "IRONHORSE" is also a re
McFaul's Iron Horse Tavern is a good place with a very nice setting. The service was very slow-the hostess was busy so we had to wait to be seated and the waiter was overwhelmed so the service was a little off.The restaurant setting is very nice and the porch is a good place to sit on a nice day.Thank you for your feedback and review. We are so sorry to hear the service was slow. We hope you enjoyed you food and we look forward ro seeing you back soon.

Thanks to all the tripadvisor reviews we ended up going down to Baltimore for one night from Hershey, PA. Our quest was for the best crab cake and our mission was accomplished.Location is outside of Baltimore close to Morgan State in a little neighborhood corner bar. I love corner bars so it was right up my alley. Parking was hard to find - FYI.Now my wife and I lived in Delaware for a few years and would drive down to the Inner Harbor a few times a month. Love the Italian area and Fell's point. Have been eating Maryland Crabs and Crab Cakes for over 20 years. Used to go to Obrickys (??) before they closed down around 10 years ago, maybe more? Anyway, Koco's crab cakes are the best hand's down we have ever had. They are an 11 ounce softball size ball of 95% crab meat with 5% breaded filler to hold them together. Now they are expensive until you put into perspective:1 - they are huge and one crab cake is enough for two people. That said I would never share mine :)2- some things are worth and these are! My wife made a very good point when we were debating to order 6 to take home! She said you know you pay $25 for a lobster roll on a small hot dog bun and little lobster meat, so true. Plus we like Crab better then Lobster anyway. We were going to give two crab cakes to our neighbors across the street and two to the neighbors right next to use becuase we all have dinner/drinks at each others houses routinely. We ended up only saving 2 and when we had them over that week we just served the two as an appetizer. They could not believe how good they are.I will never go back to Baltimore again without a first stop to Koco's. In fact, I might look for a Marriott (my go to hotel chain) as close to Koco's as possible and go there both days and maybe go to the inner harbor :)
