Kind of a throw back kind of place, very low key. Older crowd and bartender there knows how to make all the classic cocktails which are all generous and reasonably priced. Had one of the best old fashioned cocktails I had in a long while. Had the hamburgers which are very good. Order the sweet potato fries with the maple glaze...to die for! They have music every night and the two nights we were there the music was very informal but very good.

My wife and I visited by chance during a brief stopover in Palm Springs on our road trip from Lake Tahoe to San Diego.We happened across Johnny's with the intention of having a cocktail while consulting trip advisor on where to head for dinner but the menu and attentive service meant we searched no further.We were warmly greeted on arrival and initially seated at the bar as we only intended on staying for drinks. A quick check of the menu confirmed this was definitely the place for us and we were then seated very quickly while enjoying our delicious passion coladas.We moved straight to entrées and my wife opted for the chicken and shrimp while I chose the macadamia encrusted chicken breast. We ordered further cocktails while waiting - I went for the margarita infused with jalapenos while wife picked the juice box - again both were amazing.When the entrées arrived they were both plentiful and delicious - cooked to perfection.Service throughout was attentive and engaging but never intrusive.We absolutely loved this place and would have no hesitation in recommending it to others.

Lovely patio dining; broad menu choices, fun energy about the place. Everyone in our party enjoyed their meals, service was nice - not helicopter-style. Both of my friends had the Lobster Quesadilla, which they devoured! I had the appetizer Pear Salad, which was light and fresh, and the chicken skewers which were perfection - great flavor, not dried out like so many can be, presented in a thick, grilled pineapple slice and served with a coconut dip - so good!

Called in here on a Sunday evening. Interesting collection of photos of the 'stars' around the walls.Seems to have a regular clientele.Friendly service. Food was cooked well and well presented.We had a relaxed and enjoyable visit and would definitely return.

We had some delicious seafood tacos, sandwiches and salads this afternoon for lunch on the patio. Iâm guessing there wasnât enough staff scheduled for the shift because we saw the manager serving the table next door. Our server Jonathan was likely doubling as the bartender so he was busy, but he never checked on our satisfaction, forgot the lemon and ignored the credit cards we tried to hand him. So high score on the food which was perfectly prepared, but the service needs work such as customer service training.

Decor reflects the mid-century modern vibe of the town and especially the surrounding area! The food is fresh and good, the service attentive and friendly. Perhaps one of the best bargains--a 3 course lunch and happy hour meal (until 6 pm) for $22 with plenty of selections for each course. Three of us shared the molten lava chocolate for dessert--nummy!
