We stayed half board in the hotel so it was very easy to have a light lunch in the Grill Bar, situated on the boulevard. Staff were friendly and efficient. The menu is quite varied and the restaurant was fairly busy at night. Surprisingly this restaurant is actually attached and belongs to the hotel Planimar that I have recently reviewed!By comparison this restaurant is plush, spotless and the food is amazing! It makes one wonder if they serve rubbish food at dinner in said hotel (which of course is all inclusive), to encourage us to eat next door and pay! Hence bringing more revenue to the hotel . The other bars and restaurants along this strip donât serve the same type or quality of food as Simpatia does.If staying in the Planimar I recommend you try the Simpatia. You will not be disappointed and despite it looks expensive, it is not. Try the chocolate fondant for dessert it is to die for! Enjoy!

We had been stranded by our holiday company and Spike at Joe's bar was our saviour. He pointed us in the right direction and we eventually found our apartment. We returned to Joe's several times during the week we stayed in Blanes as it was always the most welcoming bar with the friendliest staff. We only ate there once, but it was delicious and plentiful. I would definitely recommend this bar for food and drinks even if you're not a sports fan.Thanks again, Spike.

Called in here a few times for drinks with the family, really good atmosphere mainly due to the landlord joking about and pulling pranks. Lots of mini games on tables to help pass the time, would recommend if staying in Malgrat.

The New crown and anchor was our local bar for an evening drink, during our stay in September. Excellent pub, very hard working owners and staff, who were always very quick to take orders etc. Definitely recommend going there, canât wait to visit again.Thank you very much. A typical British pub. Good food. Well-presented, hot., Good healthy man-sized servings.Wide choice on the menu. Would suit most tastes.Staff were friendly and attentive.Two small niggles. I have nothing but good to say about this bar. We went once and then tried a couple of other places but returned here every time. A good English cup of tea with the most amazing breakfast and then back again at lunch time for toasties ( now they know who I am lol ) Karen , Joe , Nick and the rest of the team were the most gracious hosts and we actually felt as though we went in as strangers and left as friends. Thank you team Shamrock you were fantastic xx

This is just up the road from the main pubs in malgrat de mar, but its worth tje visit, great value for money, food is a decent standard and they sell loads of British style food, there range of drinks are brilliant and varied, the staff will make you feel more than welcome.

Lovely place, lovely views, lovely food, lovely drinks choice and fabulous staff! Job done! Great for daytime or evening, great music, clean and friendly. Staff are fabulous, taught us some Spanish and chatted and recognised us when we returned a few times. And wi if from the hotel above!
