We dined here 2 different nights on our 4 day stay. The food was out of this world. Our French wasn't great but we managed with our few words and the staff equally met us half way with their few words of English to get us exactly what we wanted on the menu. If you look at what they are serving, you will have difficulty choosing from all the fabulous dishes that arrive to their tables. The staff here were very helpful & when we couldn't get a taxi after our meal, they went out of their way to make sure we got back to our hotel 15 minutes drive away. I would highly recommend this wonderful restaurant for food & drinks while watching the world go by in the Place D'armes. Beautiful view of the Cathedral day & night from their restaurant.Hello,We're very happy to read your words and we'll be pleased to see you again.Sincerely.

We went here because it was convenient, right beside our hotel (Tour Maje). The weather had turned horrible and we were running late, so in we trundled , I suppose more in hope than anticipation.Boy were we wrong! Great atmosphere, fine food and lovely staff. Could'nt have enjoyed it any more! Yhe place was heaving with locals. Can't wait to return.

This café is my favourite pitstop in Rodez. Situated in a quiet corner of Place de la Cite in the old town, there is always a good plat du jour and they specialise in tasty, freshly-prepared salads. A seat by the (usually open) French windows allows you to observe the world go by and the staff are friendly and cheerful. Good value, too

The Golf restaurant welcomes you in a warm and idyllic setting. We offer a daily fresh products card. The simplicity and good humor are waiting for you every day in our establishment .
Un repas rapidement servi avec le sourire et une bonne bière. Une carte simple efficace mais raisonnable. Pour un prix très raisonnable. Bref cela correspondait parfaitement à notre attente.

Have eaten here on many occasions and have never been disappointed. Having said that I always stick to the moules and chips which is their speciality and I gather the meat generally is not of the same standard. The service is always friendly and efficient

Had lunch here today, friendly English speaking chef, welcoming service, delicious food with a good choice of a menu, vegetarian friendly, very light food which is refreshing for this part of Aveyron. Would definately recommend and we will return.

All products are fresh and locals. Good ambiance and nice view on the cathedrale. Staff speak english and menus are translated
A typical Brasserie, with customers eating or drinking;reasonably slick service despite quickly becoming busy. the food is fairly ordinary and what one might expect. Certainly not sophisticated or fine dining although adequate in a city not blessed with great choice.Sheeps cheese salads were large and OK. Cod nothing special and the veal was a large chunk of fairly tough and flavourless meat. It needed a sauce and the chips were distinctly strange. Not French fries! Wines by the glass, a Languedoc white and Cahors and Bergerac reds were all enjoyable.

You see bowling and think crap burger and chips, but you couldn't be more wrong. Rarely will you have tasted steak as good, cooked to well, served so brilliantly. I could go n for hours about this place. That you get pate, cornichons, preserved mushrooms and all kinds put on your table for no charge, that the cheese course is so gigantic and you serve yourself at your own table, etc etc. facntastic wine selection at sensible prices. You can even bowl after if you can move!

A corner spot, with plenty of seating outside during the summer. We opted to stay inside and watch the large TV, as France was playing in the UEFA Cup. The first thing I noticed was the good wine list posted, with reasonably priced offerings by the glass, 1/4, 1/2 and bottle. We enjoyed a bottle of the regional Marcillac, which was very good. We enjoyed our time at this restaurant so much that we returned again during our stay. All of the items from the menu were quite good, and the price is also right. Definitely recommend this for at least a drink / coffee. You won't be disappointed.
