This place is fine, even my grilled fish was fresh! The food is average all around. The restaurant is pretty large for a beach spot, they has entertainment. The drinks were decent, food is not outrageous. That is the most I can ask for when you have prime real estate.A bonus, the staff was awesome.

We loved the ship shape which is so appropriate for being on the beach. We extremely appreciative waking up to have a great tasting breakfast on the beach in the open ocean air. The staff was extremely nice and best of all while basking in the sun, feet in the sand and pet friendly. You can have your dog with you out on the outdoor patio which is a treat for all to enjoy the beach.

A group of us went for happy hour and ordered several appetizers to go with the drinks. We got the pizza knots, loaded fries, fried shrimp, and natchos. The shrimp was the best out of the bunch, the natchos didn't have much topping. The pizza some other people ordered didn't look that great -- I've seen better supermarket pizza. My house margarita was okay. The place is LOUD. In addition to the noise from the television and patrons, there was a blaring radio station with deafening commercials, making it hard to have any kind of conversation without screaming at each other. Since when did happy hour justify so much noise? Not my kind of place.

The Strike Zone is family owned and operated since 2007. Conveniently located in the heart of Old Orchard Beach. Open year round for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Check out our website for our menu, specials and more!
We visited OOB the middle of September and the beach and pier were still pretty busy given the lovely warm weather. We had planned on watching Sunday football with beer and wings at this sports bar. We arrived and happily ordered an ice cold bucket with 2 bottles of beer for under $4 and pursued the menu. While not exciting or imaginative they did have wings. We didn't find out until after the beer and a 10 minute wait that they had run out of wings! What? Sunday - wings - sport bar? I know they were busier than expected but the waitress said someone had 'bought them all'. Well someone from management should have sent a cook out to the nearest supermarket because they must have been missing sales from that alone. Otherwise an ok place to have an ice cold beer. We will try again next year.

We had dinner here following recommendations on trip advisor. Food (steamers and lobster rolls) were delicious plus unique margaritas were perfect. Waitstaff was excellent and you canât beat the location for a true Maine experience. Hint: arrive before 5:30 to avoid long wait.

Our visit to Sunset Bar was unfortunately cut short by a thunderstorm, but while there we had drinks, an order of poutine tater tots (awesome), and listened to some live music. Service was great, felt bad that everyone scrambled to leave when the storm rolled it. Walked by about an hour later and it looked like they had closed for the night.

The food was good . The drinks were outstanding . TVâs to catch some sports. Nikki our bartender and server was a delight . It might get crazy in the summer but off season it was really nice .

Dinner on the top deck of this busy restaurant. Servers were hustling, even though there was a wait for a table it was brief, about 15 minutes, which on a Saturday night isn't bad. We each had clam chowder, which was really good though a little pricey, & split a scallop & fried clam plate. Scallops were really good and plentiful, clams were okay, the breading wasn't sticking and there were not a lot of them. Good amount of fries & slaw. Prices overall were not bad and service was very good.

We went to JJs this morning and had a great breakfast. Corned beef hash, Kidâs pancake and sausage links, and the small Irish Eggs Benedict (hash). The prices were perfectly low and food was great quality! We sat outside on the patio under the awning. Service was great too! All around a great place for a great breakfast.

Old Orchard Beach's laid back fine-dining restaurant & lounge now for the season . Breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus.
What an incredible dinner we had. We started with the mussels, very touchy. The lobster risotto was phenomenal, so much food. My daughter still raves about the lobster roll. Great drinks. Canât wait to go back.
