If you like thin partially burnt crust with a small splash of sauce and even less cheese this is your place. Busy expensive and very small parking lot. Go else where for NY pizza.

My dad and I had an early dinner at Bluestone Tavern today and we caught some football too! All of the food was delicious especially the Jack and Honey Meatball Appetizer Special! We both ordered the skirt steak at medium rare and both of our steaks were a little over done. Overall good meal and atmosphere.

Compared to what this bar used to be with Brocks, South Shore Dive is surprisingly good. They constantly change their taps which makes it a good Beer Location. The renovations of the inside makes the place so much more inviting. The Apps are very good and the service is top notch. Definitely worth a visit!

Irish pub and restaurant located in the heart of Long Island offering classic Irish dishes like Shepard's Pie and Reuben Sandwiches as well as American favorites with an extensive appetizer menu, burgers, salads, soups, and more. We carry local craft beer
My visit to Kelly's Ale House was a disappointment. The sandwich I wanted (portobello) wasn't available and I opted for the California chicken sandwich instead. The chicken itself was tasty but there was not enough pesto/sauce on the bread to make it moist enough to eat. I ended up asking for honey-mustard to put on it. My husband ordered the French dip which came with a small plastic cup of au jous that was barely enough for half of his sandwich. The waitress was helpful but the kitchen should not have sent out either plate the way they were.

Nice place. Great location. Respectable draft tap list Service was good. Initial order problem with surprise ingredient (wasnât listed on menu, but was in the delivered meal). Server promptly offered replacement. Replacement was brisket sandwich. Very good roll, but too much bread overall, in the bread to ingredient ratio. Too much mushroom... tasted mushroom, not the brisket. Companions were pretty happy with their meals, but also noted the bread:content ratio.

We tried this restaurant as someplace different then our usual eateries. The reviews were good and the menu on their web site looked amazing and now having eaten there can honestly say both were correct. The night we were there the place was jammed packed (reservations are highly recommended) so our waiter was a bit overwhelmed and that was the only neg. of our experience. Even with the crowd and our waiter a little slow getting to us and checking in once and a while (like forgetting our bread, slow getting our drinks, not checking to see if we needed anything, etc...) all was mostly forgiven once our food arrived. I had the baked lasagna and growing up an Italian NY'er I know my pasta's and what's good and what's not. This lasagna was among the best I've had (not as good as my nonnina's though). And everyone we dined with that night raved about each of their dishes. The prices were not cheap, but not over the top either. The atmosphere had a sort of a clean, industrial type feel. The soft lighting helped, but the noise level all around us was high. I gave it 4 stars for the reasons mentioned above: very, very crowded, waiter was overwhelmed and we had to keep flagging him down for service and a little too noisy for me, but oh the food, the food was amazing and would rate 5 stars. Perhaps a slower night or different time slot for our visit and it would have received an overall 5 stars, maybe(?). For me, when I write a review and score it's rating, for a place to earn 5 stars ALL the elements must be worthy of 5 stars. I do however recommend trying this restaurant and because the menu had so many tantalizing, appealing options leaving me wanting to taste and what we did have was that good I know we'll be going back.

We went to the restaurant because of its proximity to the funeral home we were paying a visitation at. The menu was filled with potential dishes but we all opted for fish and chips. The plates were overflowing with delicious offerings: 3 filets, 3 shrimp, coleslaw, fries, malt vinegar and sauces. We all needed doggie bags and the leftovers reheated perfectly in the oven, making the meal very economical.

Went here during Festival, typically closed on Sunday but open with limited menu. Service was excellent even considering they were closing soon. Never rushed nice and food was prepared fresh and delicious. Nothing fancy but enjoyable as well as being reasonable. If in area, wirth a visit

We went for lunch and ordered the broiled seafood platter and king crabs legs. The seafood tasted very fishy, and was dry. They cut the crab legs in half, and they were dry too. Over priced for the quality of the food. $12.50 for a bowl of soup, and it was ok. Panera Bread has better tasting soup for a quarter of the price. Service was ok. We received our desserts with no forks, and the runner never came back with the forks. Not impressed. They should be serving fresh fish, but it was not good.We would like to thank you for your comments and review on your recent visit to the Snapper Inn and of course are very concerned about your experience and would like to address it immediately.
