We had lunch here on a very hot day. There is outside and indoor seating - we chose indoor. Service was a bit slow as they were very busy but it was very friendly and we soon had drinks. We chose burgers and one of the all day breakfast meals. All were very good and well presented - with large volumes of food. The price was very reasonable for the quality. This is a good choice for lunch.

The Cliff House Restaurant is located inside Capilano Suspension Bridge Park and is accessible for visitors of the park. With 150 indoor/outdoor seating, the new restaurant offers views of the Capilano Canyon and local west coast fare.
Within the Capilano Suspension bridge attraction. I somehow wish you could go to the restaurant without having to pay to entrance fee. Had a very nice wine flight and you could choose any of their wines they offered by the glass. They offer a very good BC Pinot Gris and Cabernet Sauvignon. Our server Meaghan was extremely friendly. Would return

Black Bear Pub is a great local spot in North Vancouver. It has a great selection of beer and food. I appreciate the outdoor patio because it is less noisy and brighter. If you are inside, it is still a great venue as they have any places to sit.I always enjoy trying different micro-brewery beers and their staff are quite knowledgeable.

Since 1986 the Cheshire Cheese has been serving up fresh, local seafood and traditional British dishes in a beautiful waterfront setting overlooking downtown Vancouver and beyond. Situated right on the water's edge at Londsdale Quay Market in North Vancou
As far as the food quality goes compared to price, it's about average. I had the seafood cioppino, which was tasty though nothing outstanding. The lamb curry was mediocre from an Asian standard, and the grilled halibut was pretty nice and freeh. The ambiance of the place is one of their strengths, though the service was slightly subpar. Overall, it was quite the average restaurant.

North Vancouver's second Browns Socialhouse location is in Lynn Valley, located right in the heart of the Lynn Valley Centre. This Browns is the perfect place to socialize with friends and family with one of the best patios on the north shore complete wit
Visited here with family (4 of us) in June. Will give credit where credit is due. The food was very good. In regards to the wait staff and bar, not so impressed. For one, we had to ask for service. When he finally came the waiter w seemed to feel he was smarter than us and was doing us a favor to serve us. Kind of a detached arrogance is best how I would describe him. I did try to chat him up a bit as everyone has a bad day; but his reluctance prevailed. My wife ordered Prosecco. It was made clear that is my wife's daily drink, so if it wasn't fresh she would send it back. The Prosecco arrived in a red wine glass, not cold, and totally flat. It was sent back and a champagne glass was requested along with a fresh opened bottle. Again flat. Totally. The waiter actually had the nerve to hold the glass up and say he saw "some bubbles". This time I tasted it and, I swear, it tasted like Cabernet Sauvignon. And, the bartender was about to pour another from the same open bottle! NOT! So, a Cabernet Sauvignon was ordered and we finished. It should also be noted that there were very few people in the place. And it took quite a long time to get our drinks. For what reason I'll never know. It wasn't like the bartender was overloaded. We had rented an Airbnb just down the street. Had the experience been more positive we would have eaten there again as the food was, indeed, very good. But instead we spent more time across the street at a competitor. Guess others felt the same as this place across the street was packed, whereas Brown's, at least the evening we went was relatively empty. 3 stars for the food. That's the best I can give.HI Scott,We are so sorry to hear about this experience. We would love a chance to connect with you directly. If you are interested, please email us [email protected]

Our hotel recommended this restaurant, which is situated right on the water, looking across to Vancouver. We arrived hungry and thirsty for happy hour, but prices were very reasonable at any rate. We enjoyed fresh fish and chips, as well as white sangrias, which were very refreshing. We snagged a metered parking spot, but there is also a garage nearby. Great start to our Canadian vacation!

Our flagship location in North Vancouver's Lower Lonsdale neighbourhood. This location features a large dining room with two mezzanines that overlook the lively lounge. Catch the Shipyards Night Market or other community events while sitting on our season
We were here for lunch with relatives visiting Vancouver. It seemed like most of the restaurants on lower Lonsdale are closed at lunchtime and we did not feel like eating at Lonsdale Quay. Tap & Barrel is casual and has a pub like ambiance. I found even the booths were very high and I had to climb up in order to seat myself in the booth. Iâm under 5â and a senior so seating myself was an interesting challenge. The service was very good fortunately since the parking on the streets at lunchtime is somewhat limited and with a time limit of 1 hour it did not allow us to linger over lunch. We ordered, pizzas (2), poke bowl, tuna salad and fish and chips. Everyone enjoyed their meal. My fish and chips were well prepared. The fish was nice and moist but the chips could have been crisper. The fish and chips were $19.95 and the fish used was cod. The food was very good but I felt it was somewhat overpriced. It is unlikely that we would return as I found their menu to be very limited and a bit too pricey. If Iâm paying $20.00 for fish and chips it should be prepared with something better than cod.Thank you for your review. We appreciate the feedback and we will share it with our team. We hope that you would consider returning and if you would like to email more details about the menu being limited we would love to hear from you. You can reach us at: [email protected]
