Voted âBest Traditional American Restaurantâ by WMBF News and âBest of the Beachâ by The Sun News. California Dreaming serves up huge portions of fresh, made from scratch fare such as award winning salads, slow-cooked prime rib and âfall-off-the-boneâ bab
Great food, as always. While the setting isn't as impressive as the original in Columbia, the food is the same great quality and great service. All of this was overshadowed by the eye rolling and attitude from the young lady who was the face of California Dreaming that night.

We had a party of 9, and had no wait for dinner. Our waitress was extremely knowledgeable. We ordered a platter (for the adults) that we were told would feed 4 people. When it arrived, it may have fed 3...and only as long as all persons wanted a different item on the platter. In addition, nothing was cut (rack of ribs, smoked chicken), so as to be shared with others. A pizza for one of the kids was burnt on the bottom. The manager tried to be accommodating, but it was too late. It was not my first visit, so I was very disappointed. Donât think we will be returning...Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We appreciate all of the feedback. We will pass your message along to management so we can work on some of those issues you touched on. Hopefully, you can give us another try sometime soon.

Horst Gasthaus German Restaurant is just what you expect from a great hofbrauhaus. We were surprised that there was entertainment with our dinner. the singer brought around hats for the patrons to wear. She sang and took selfies with the tables. The children ran up and participated. Now to the food. Delicious generous portions. The German potato pancakes were hot and flaky with a side of applesauce. The Horst Gasthaus platte was an overload of great German food. The apple strudel was wonderful and other tables ask what we were having because it looked so good. Of course, good German beer topped it all off.

We have one of the coolest western style saloons on the east coast. Nice selection of great bourbons and regional beers around. All meats are wood smoked, no gas or electric.
Didn't know what to expect but was pleasantly surprised. Seems more like a locals bar but everyone was very friendly. The smell alone will draw in and the food was exceptional. Can't wait to go back and try more of the menu. The brisket sandwich and mac and cheese were great.

We called in a to-go order and was told it would be ready in about 5-10 minutes. We were staying right down the road, so that time was perfect. We ordered:- Fried Chicken Breast with lettuce, mayo, and pickle- Hot Dog with chili and mustard with a side of fries- Side of Onion RingsOverall, the food was decent. The onion rings were hot and not greasy. My chicken sandwich was juicy. The toppings were fresh. My dad enjoyed the hot dog and thought the chili was good. He liked the fries. The food kept our bellies full until dinner.

About 20 of us went to Flynnâs Irish Tavern this weekend (9 Aug 2019) for a dinner. The environment/atmosphere is wonderful, the food (Irish & American Comfort Food) is absolutely, impeccably delicious. Out of 20 people dining, all were very happy with their dinners. The Wait Staff were courteous, professional, and easily some of the best at the beach. This restaurant is located in Ye Old Ocean Drive Jail! And yes, you can ask for a tour of the old Jail Cells. We will definitely go back for dinner!

Over rated; over rated, over rated. The service was awful! The food was ok. Portions were small and the taste was standard.

Always our first stop for dinner when we arrive in town. Offering mouth watering steaks and delicious crab cakes. The steaks are incredibly juicy and seasoned just right while the crab cakes are so light and packed with more crabmeat than filler. The asparagus is always perfectly steamed and green. The loaded baked potatoes are delicious! And the bread is heavenly - light and fluffy on the inside while crusty chewy on the outside. More expensive than some restaurants perhaps,, but well worth the money - we are simply in awe of the chefs. Well done yet again Martini!
