This almost hidden restaurant is the only restaurant we have ever been to where it could not be faulted in any way. It is beautifully decorated, great ambiance, well chosen gentle background music, lots of space between tables, spotlessly clean, great polite service, excellent prices, and the two dishes we tried were absolutely wonderful. The classiest restaurant in Morgan Hill. They deserve to be successful.

Food was mediocre but the customer service was pretty bad. We literally had to ask for the waitress multiple times because they never checked on our table. Never refilled our water. Never brought us a bill. They made a mistake on our order and never corrected it after we informed them. And it would be understandable if it was busy that day, but it was like us and 4 other parties eating in the restaurant that day. I doubt I will be returning.

Had not been to a Chili's in several years, so we decided to give it a try. Not much has changed. Typical chain establishment, okay food but served by a rather busy and inattentive server, noisy, etc. Just not a place to go for a nice evening out. Should have realized that would probably be the situation, but we tried. Oh well.

4. The Hill Bar and Grill

This is a great bar/club on Monterey Road, in downtown Morgan Hill. Three of us went down on a Friday night and danced to some amazing live music. Great scene, fun patrons, amazing staff! Drinks were fairly priced and promptly served. If you are looking to have a great time on a Friday night in MH head on down to The Hill - you will not be disappointed!
