Came here to try and watch an AFL game on a night where north QLD was playing in the NRL. Shannon (staff) was amazing. He found a corner, put it on 3 screens, grabbed my wife a lounge chair and totally looked after us- best service in a pub ever!On top of that all the staff were friend,y and good drink prices.Definitely coming back here.Didn't eat here on this occasion but 5 stars for atmosphere and service.Hello and thank you for your recent review of The Pub. We are glad to see you had such a great time here, the staff work very hard to make each and every persons day when they visit. You will have to come back and try the food as it is every bit as good as the rest of what we have on offer here.Thank you again for taking the time to review us, we hope to see you here again soon. The Alex Surf Club is arguably the best seat on the beach. With great food and friendly service all in one incredible location on the Sunshine Coast. Grab a seat at the Lookout Bistro, The Beach Kiosk, The Lookout Bar or our new, modern Bluff Bar and Tapa

There are plenty of tables, both indoor and outdoor, and it is a really good place to just while away some time, chew on some nibbles, and have a quiet drink. Thank you for your review John. glad you enjoyed your visit

Decent variety of beers. Some local brews and imported. Black Hops egg nog stout was delicious. Sick Puppy pale ale was also a highlight. Didnât have any food. Service was good but they need more than two serving in busy periods - sometimes thereâs only one (?). Toilet seat was busted and broken which is really unforgivable. The brews will bring us back.

Although I worked in Munich I never really enjoyed the Bavarian specialties (particularly wild boar) and I'm not really a fish eater, so it was either pizzas or schnitzels. We opted for the chicken schnitzel ($29.50) and - honestly - one would have sufficed for us two adults! It practically covered the dinner plate, and concealed a small mound of beautifully crispy chips. The side salad was entirely wasted, I'm afraid, because the chicken was succulent, tender, moist and enhanced by the generous, fresh lemon slices they gave us. And to complement that meal a fine Pinot Grigio from Western Australia (a steep $40.00). The service Arthur (a French guy from Provence) gave us was friendly, utterly professional and welcoming. Merci beaucoup, Arthur!

A family friendly casual dining experience at affordable prices beers and cider on tap as well as a great range of bottled beer and spirits
The food was delicious and portions generous. The only negative was the service was quite slow and when we arrived there was only one other table occupied. However the waitress did apologise for the long wait time. What I really like about this cafe is they have a seperate menu for gluten free customers. I would go back but I would make sure I have plenty of time.

Casual and relaxed. Fresh local ingredients used in the preparation of all meals.
A great little corner hotel across the road from the beach. Just casual enough. Good food and great service. Drinks at usual bar prices and plenty of choice on menu, although seafood was a specialty for us!Very friendly and welcoming service. Indoor and outdoor settings. We stopped by for dinner but would go back anytime.
