Stopped in for dinner based on a recommendation from a local. Service was fast & friendly. Their have specials each night of the week. The night I was there, it was fish tacos...I had a burger with bacon, egg & cheese. It was great. (Nobody eats fish tacos, do they?)I also ordered naked wings with spicy garlic. Not sure what happened, but they were neither spicy or garlic. I got hot sauce on the side. It was sweet too. Oh, they don't have mojitos.

Dropped in for dinner on a Friday night - first time we'd been here since the place changed ownership. We had burgers for our meal - they were very good! The selection of wines has decreased and the selections of beers appears to have decreased also. For an early Friday night, it was a nice quiet place to visit. Service was excellent, both timely and very friendly!

I'm always looking for places off the beaten path. Stopped here on a rainy, Monday. We sat at the bar and enjoyed spicy wings and chips and salsa with our Clamdigger and margaritas. Although the wings could have been a bit spicier, they were still very tasty. Service was excellent! Atmosphere was fun! Can't wait to return when the weather gets warmer and sit outside and listen to live music!

Defiantly not on the healthy eating matrix. This is not your average hamburger but rather a throw back to days gone by - simply a great greasy Berger. Still the best bar Berger in town!!

Great quality food, good portions. Love the presentation. Service was excellent. My husband had the beef brisket and I had the Eula Burger with a side of Texas caviar. Stacked high with straw onion rings, Bacon and cheddar cheese. YUM! Our meal was delicious. We will definitely stop in again. Great prices too.

Stopped in for lunch mid-week. We were greeted right away and quickly seated where we were wished. Their wine list is pretty limited, although the beer selection isn't bad - have developed a liking for Sam Adams winter seasonal beers, which they didn't have. The food and service were excellent!

I always make a point of visiting this restaurant when I visit Monroe because they had wonderful Rueben sandwiches. This time I was very disappointed because the sandwich had no flavor and it was very greasy. Guess I'll have to find another place to eat in Monroe.

We are thrilled to bring the neighborhood fresh, healthy food served in a rustic modern atmosphere
My husband and I travel the US 4-5 months out of the year. When traveling, and even when home, we choose the local establishments over chains. Both of us have been business owners and know the importance of the local customer. So, while visiting Monroe, Michigan, we once again did our homework and chose "Public House" for our first meal out. We were greeted at the door by several staff members and quickly seated. Within a couple of minutes, Tracey our waitress greeted us. She was so delightful, attentive and a complete joy to converse with. I ordered the French Onion Grilled Cheese and my husband-the Crunchy French Toast with Caramel and Bananas. (By the way, you can order off the breakfast menu anytime of day). Our food arrived hot, made with the freshest ingredients and was superb! We saw the owner Fred, continually in the dining room, walking around, making sure that everyone was being taken care of. He was probably one of the nicest men that we have ever met and truly loves what he does. He asked if it was our first time there, and asked why we chose Public House. We explained that we try to always dine at the local establishments when we travel. He was very appreciative to us, and said that he strives hard to make sure everything they serve is perfect. Said that even the table we were eating on was locally made. I can't say enough wonderful about this place. We loved it so much, we plan to eat breakfast there while in town. Check out their menu online-keep in mind that everything is made either in house or locally...even the chocolate chip cookies are made nearby! Don't miss this place....Wow, thank you for all of your wonderful comments and recommendation! We could not do all we do without our valuable team so this is a shout out to them, and your review will be passed along to Tracey. (Just one little correction, our chocolate chip cookies as well as all our desserts are made in-house by our pastry chef.)
