This restaurant has changed it's name to The Brasserie but the food was superb!! We had dinner and everything from the service to the food and wine was faultless. I am allergic to onions but wanted to try their seafood hotpot----the chef went out of his way to give me the best seafood hotpot I've ever had. There was lobster, shrimp, mussels and fish in a coconut broth with rice on the side. My husband had the baby chicken which was an entire chicken stuffed with gingerbread which turned out to be delicious---I'm going to try the same recipe when I return home. The only drawback wasn't with the restaurant but the guests who came to a fine dining place in shorts and flipflops---it's not that difficult to put a bit of effort into dressing when the restaurant has gone to so much trouble to give you wonderful food---it's a matter of respect.

I have recently returned from my trip to Mauritius. While there I visited the Irish numerous times and could not fault the food on any occasion. The highlight for me was the fish and chips. perfectly fried tasty fillet of fish, served with crispy chips and homemade tar tar sauce. The pasta was also a very generous portion and tasty aswell. All pasta's are freshly made. I highly recommend visiting this establishment if you are in the area

Cafe, Restaurant and Beer Shop.
If you like beer, particularly Belgian beer, you'll love this place. The owner clearly loves beer, as he has curated an amazing collection of beers from around the world - including beer from a local microbrewery, Flying Dodo, which is quite good. You can purchase the beer to drink there or to take with you as this is a store and a pub all rolled into one. The walls are lined with beer cans from breweries from around the world. The beer is the attraction here - but the food isn't bad either. We went for an early dinner and enjoyed it. There are a few vegetarian options - mostly pastas. My son enjoyed the fish and chips and my husband liked the seafood pasta, one of the specials. The service was good and the servers friendly.
A shop properly set up for wine and spirit lovers. The sommeliers tender good advice. You get a whole range of wines from cheap bottles to expensive ones. They have special discounts on selected bottles each month. Just ask them for the list.

We are regular CUSTOMERS to SPUR chain of steak house in South Africa. So one must assume this is a franchise but this is Mauritius and prices and QUALITY is unlike SA: much more expensive and meat is different....Dear Ianfung,Thank you for taking the time to send us your feedback. We are concerned to hear that you were not pleased with the quality of the food at our restaurant. Please take a moment to send your complaint and contact details through to our Customer Care team - [email protected] - so that they may investigate and resolve this with the branch in question and provide you with feedback.Sincerely,Spur Team

Weâre about building the best burgers, serving mofo wings and getting messy with serious ribs. #NotNormal
This place has potential but needs a good manager to control quality and service. I went for the smaller 100g burger. I don't know what they were thinking, but they squirted mayonnaise on the side of the burger making it look so unappealing. The toppings was one thin slice of tomato, one thin slice of red onion and a few super small pieces of sliced pickle. If the presentation was better, the toppings were provided in a greater portion, and the mayonnaise was not served in a rather grotesque manner, I didn't have to wait so long for my order, I would have given one more star.Place strikes me as having very good potential, something is just off somehow.Oh no, this ain't cool AwSure. Wonât you please pop us a mail with your deets & a copy of this review --> [email protected] so we can get in touch with you directly to discuss this further.Cheers,Tyla

In a nice corner was setup a very light decorated table with a Happy birthday balloon. My fiancee was surprised and very happy. After our coffee and nice cheesecake, time for the little surprise which Alisha handled perfectly. She brought the cake while birthday music was playing along. My partner was on the verge of crying. Went for dinner on my first night here, had satay to start, plenty of chicken on this dish, had a rare steak as a main, meat was good, but accompaniments were a little 'light' - mushroom in a pastry cup and mash. Will try again but different selection next time.....
