Make sure to get there early! This is a wonderful out of the way little place to eat some great food. The downside....it's not very big and could really use a facelift.

I live in Moberly and we eat out a lot! Lucky's food is way above average for this small town. The pizza is amazing and during wk nights they always have a "special" so call and see what it is for the night you're going. I also really love their appetizers, especially their nacho's, however the last time we were there we dropped about $250.00 on supper and they gave us literally a half a cup of chili on them, showed the waitress and she talked to the owner, who we know well, she came back with another full cup of chili, got the bulk and they had charged us for it! I complained again nicely but they still wouldn't take the $3 off my bill.. Big mistake. Haven't been back since!Ambiance is Extremely nice, staff has big turnover. But all in all good food and service most of the time.

Coates St. Corner Grill is one of those success stories you think, "Man, I wish that would happen in my neighborhood!" Long the local downtown bar, now reclaimed and renovated into a great space for lunch meetings or an early dinner. Booths along one wall are high enough to feel private and the decor is full of natural light. Food was quick for lunch and appropriately sized. This is good food in a space that just feels good... Here's wishing the Corner Grill a future of full tables!

Sunday, lunch time. When we ordered we were informed that they were out of baked potatoes. A steak house without bakers. I ordered fettuccine Alfredo; I got a penne pasta Alfredo. Portion size was very small. It came with Texas toast but was very thin; more like Rhode Island toast. Although the wrong kind of noodles, they were properly cooked. Dish tasted fine, no complaints. The wifeâs salmon was generous and tasty. Broccoli was reheated from frozen. Rolls were premanufactured but fresh. Service was fine,slow but salmon takes a while.
