Mirissa (Sinhalese: මිරිස්ස) is a small town on the south coast of Sri Lanka, located in the Matara District of the Southern Province. It is approximately 150 kilometres (93 mi) south of Colombo and is situated at an elevation of 4 metres (13 ft) above sea level. Mirissa's beach and nightlife make it a popular tourist destination. It is also a fishing port and one of the island's main whale and dolphin watching locations.

We ate here for our last night in Mirissa and we really regretted opting for this restaurant. The guys were lovely and the service wasn't great, they forget two drinks and got our order slightly wrong.We asked for a calamari starter and specified with no sides or extras just calamari to share but it came out a s a full meal at the same time as our mains.My boyfriend had the chicken kebab which was good but my meal was not. It came with rice (as they ahd no chips) and the rice was cold and plain boiled. This accompanied my dry fish so it wasn't great.The calamari was the most bizarre thing I ahve had, it was huge chunks of calamari with thick doughy almsot batter. Not good. I wouldn't recommend this palce and I feel bad writing this as I don't want their business to suffer but the food really wasn't good. Would recommend this spot for a drink, a beautiful spot at the end of the beach but not for your final meal.

Beautiful bar/restaurant on the beach front. Full of good vibes, great drinks, good food and a fantastic view of watching the waves go by on the sea front. Staff are friendly. Cocktails are ok, a-bit random with some of the combinations but ok none the less. Been here in the evening for dinner and also at lunch too. The only bar in mirissa to have sky sports too which allowed us to watch the rugby World Cup .

GREAT FOOD at cheap prices and great service. There place has been open just for two weeks so is completely new, chic and by far the cleanest place âIve seen so far.The staff is very present, professional and quick. We have met Praneeth here and other than really good at his job he went out of his way to help us with our transportation personally contacting drivers for us.My boyfriend and I ate there for dinner jaffies, curry in a hurry and fresh fruit juices right on the beach. We were so satisfied that we had to come back for lunch even tough was not on our trip plan, then we got chocolate pancakes a burger and some more juice (delicious).A SPECIAL PLACE ON THE BEACH!

Great food, shisha, environment. Very friendly owner and staff, best night life in Weligamaâºï¸We kept coming back here every other night during our stay in Weligama and felt like at home. Itâs a brand new restaurant with a cosy interior.We love vegan food and this place has amazing options like falafels, hummus, interesting salad options. Generous portions to enjoy. They also have cocktails, beer, and other drinks.Ohhh thank you so much monika, what you said is so appreciated actually and im so happy to know that our customers are loving everything in bay-route even the small details. Lovely beachfront restaurant that offers a wide range of seafood based dishes. Food is absolutely delicious and freshly prepared. They also have a great selection of beverages. Prices are moderate and customer service is commendable. Undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in the area.

We had visited with my 6 year old and sea food averse husband. The waiter was kind enough to make a special egg curry rice for my husband and a potato mash wrap for my daughter. Their pasta, prawns and chicken are absolutely delicious. A little heavy on your pockets but worth the ambience. Itâs by the sea and you need eagleâs vision for their sign board. Google maps always to the rescue.

Had the chicken tortilla wrap and the chicken had definitely been cooked/ fried a couple of weeks before, then frozen and then re-heated. It was unpalatable.Would not recommend, left all of it. Dear Guest, We are very sorry that your experience with us was poor. We take great care in serving our guests with food that is best in taste as well as in quality. Therefore, we are not sure of what took place here. Nevertheless, our apologies. Eat.....Live.....Love

Amazing restaurant right on the beach. My partner and I tried almost everything on the menu and were never disappointed. I particularly loved the mango lassi and the curry was one of the best I've ever had! The staff were super friendly and helpful, providing us with valuable local knowledge. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip. The happy hour from 1-10pm was a nice touch too
