Popped in for a drink, nice layout on the roof of SM Aura mall, had a clear cider which was sweet but nice change from lager, the menu looked nice but didn't eat and lots of wine available.

tucked away up top end of adriatico street this is quite a nice, stylish bar that has many beers on tap. All IPA apparently. Anyway its open daytimes until late has wifi and sports screen. Happy hour on all draft beers from 5pm. Good place to duck into during the day for a swift half! Liked it and likely to return next time in the area.

Came to Manila for the first time in Feb/Mar 2017 for a friends 40th B'day. Had a couple of nights at Dakota Cabin Cafe Bar and Bistro and my friends B'day. Had a great time on each occasion. The food is superb and there is a touch of the UK if you want a taste of home. The Curry Kiev is outstanding! Wonderful friendly atmosphere and within 5 minutes you are made to feel like a friend. Will be looking forward to coming back again and will visit Dakota Cabin Cafe Bar and Bistro again as soon as I can.

Gimmick point smörgåsbord buffet & bar!! More populary know as G point smörgåsbord & bar. It's an international restaurant with swedish/filipino food. We are also famous as connection point. For tourist & diver patrons visiting/living in Manila, Puerto Ga
G Point is a restaurant-bar near Robinson's popular with foreigners. The menu is decently large and has salads, pizza, tacos, wings, and there are beer specials also. There is a guard there (for some reason I don't know) who is friendly and the staff was helpful and friendly when I was there. You can order their popular buffet or also alacarte entrees.Prices are average for a foreigners type of place. It has air conditioning and it is non smoking which is a nice respite from the other restaurants in town.Restroom also had a sink that actually works and a towel and soap haha. They play sports on the wall mounted TV's and you can request specific games (allegedly).

It's a well-known hot spot in the equally scammy nightlife area of Malate. I was told this was a great place to check out, so I did and had a couple terrible experiences. The first one I'll mention happened when I bought some food on 04/21/18. I went to the entrance and there were 2 or 3 of their sexy cowgirls working, and one of them (very friendly, the slightly chubbier one) took my order. I saw on the menu a combination of 2 pizza slices, chicken and salad for 150 pesos. I thought this was a good deal and I placed my order. She returned with the bill of almost 500 pesos. I asked what was going on and she said I ordered a whole pizza, too. I did not order a whole pizza. There's no way it could have been interpreted that I did, and her explanation was "Oh because you said it was a take away order"... Wtf? I explained this was incorrect but there were no "sorries" just "Oh hehe well too late have to pay." I realized at that moment I'd just been scammed. A very, very silly scam that adds a couple bucks to the business while making enemies with a customer. The pizza in the combo meal was a bizarre combination of pineapple, onions and other things that don't really go on pizza (I asked for pepperoni.) Meanwhile, the new pizza I didn't order was the pepperoni like I asked, but it nevertheless tasted like a strange imitation of a pizza versus actual pizza (but this is typical in SE Asia so who am I to complain?) Feeling overall really angry, I donated the pizza to the tired, hungry late-night hotel clerks and it looked like I made their entire night. This made me feel like all's well that end's well.BAD EXPERIENCE #2The previous night I attended their late night club. How great was the party? Mediocre. They'll regularly pause the dance floor to bring out a live band who sings terrible covers of pop hits. Why not just keep the dance floor going? But the bad experience happened when I left. I got hassled by the security for not having a "receipt" to prove I bought beers while i was inside. I don't know if this is customary in Philippines but I don't think it is. What is this, the mafia? I bought two beers while I was in there and I had no receipt because why the heck would I ask for them? They never told me inside that security would give me a hard time when I left. I defended myself and the security backed away.Overall, they treat their customers like scum.
