Find out what Bar restaurants to try in Manchester. Famed for its soccer team and music scene, which has produced the likes of the Smiths and Oasis, this center for sports and the arts is a down-to-earth and friendly city. The so-called Capital of the North has overcome industrial decline, bombing (in WWII and by the IRA) to become a confident and cosmopolitan city of well over two million. It is well served by a bus and light rail network. Top attractions include the Lowry art complex, arcade Affleck's Palace and Canal Street gay village.

It's more than the sloping floors, more than the dreamy tile, more than the friendly staff and charming interior. It's the vibe that cannot be replaced or replicated. I hope it never changes.Hi Chelsea,Thanks for your great review, it makes us smile.

Came here with friends yesterday and stayed for roughly 2 hours. The girl behind the bar with dark hair (didn't get her name) was lovely and could not have been more helpful with our cocktails. Also the place had a really strange smell like sewers but the toilets were the freshest part of the bar weirdly enough. However after an hour a young man approached us (I assume the waiter) who I don't think had worked there for very long and stuck a reserved sign on our table, bearing in mind we had spent almost £60 on drinks and been there for almost 2 hours. About half an hour later he re-approached us and told us we had to leave soon because someone had reserved our table. I found this quite rude as surely you can't reserve a table that somebody is already sitting on??? The first time he came over he dumped the reserved sign on the table and was gone after saying something which we did not hear and then when he came back over to rush us this was quite annoying as we were already seated and had spent quite a bit of money.Cocktails however were lovely and the bar staff are hard working and chatty, just a shame about the young waiter.Hi kjbx,I'm sorry to hear about the negative aspect to your visit. We endeavor to give our customers fair notice when a table is reserved for a booked table, it's a shame to hear that this wasn't communicated to you effectively. If you would like, please drop an email to [email protected] where we can discuss this further and hopefully persuade you to book a table with us.Kind regards,Revolution Deansgate Management

Why is this place so busy?! Way overpriced and food is bang average compared to some of its near neighbours. Always a 6/10 meal @ 10/10 prices. Service is slow and the lady waitreess/owner/manager is weirdly 'touchy' which I'm sure some people like but makes others uncomfortable. Given it a few tries now but not any moreThanks for your comments. Is a shame that they are so negative without actually giving any constructive issues we could try and work onI see by your profile you only bother to leave negative feedbackWith regard to you comments about our manager Sam.( the nicest person in the world )I canât think of a single person whoâs ever said a bad word against her ever??? Iâm glad you noticed that we are so busy compared to our neighbours. Thatâs because we really try our hardest to serve great food at reasonable prices with fantastic service. We are only human and sometimes get it wrong but If that happens just let us know at the time so we have a chance to make things right We always try our best to make sure everyone leaves happy

Had wanted to try here for ages and decided to try it after seeing a voucher deal. The place was quiet when we arrived and staff didnât seem very attentive. Finally ordered wine and a sharing board - the wine arrived and was dumped on the table, didnât even bother pouring the glasses. The sharing board looked impressive but was disappointing- had much better elsewhere. Staff didnât bother asking if everything was ok - seemed to be more bothered hiding behind the counter and talking amongst themselves. Wouldnât return or recommend - there are far nicer places in Manchester.Ciao Stupii,Thanks for leaving this review. We agree this is not the service we aim at giving to our visitors. Please contact us on [email protected] so that we can get more details and investigate.GrazieNino

When we set out to open our bar, it was important that we created something grounded in our location and heritage whilst offering a welcoming ambience for our customers. We wanted to create a venue that was inviting in all circumstances: work or play, sol
Fantastic menu & just utterly delicious food, great for either groups who want to share small plates but equally good for solo diners like myself. Open kitchen, v casual atmosphere, waiters in tshirts etc but food special enough to visit as a treat/fun celebration dinner too. Amazing value too. Will definitely return.

We visited this restaurant on 16th September having booked online after reading other reviews. We had a window seat overlooking the canal and into the tastefully decorated restaurant. The waiter was friendly and quite jokey - seemingly trying to push our boundaries with innuendo but not a problem. Probably goes with the territory. Food was reasonable and very nice. I had fish and chips and my husband had the steak. We had a couple of cocktails too. It was nice to see a dog friendly place as well. Would definitely come back if in Manchester again.Hi hbulman2017,Many thanks for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback about your experience dining with us recently. We are so pleased that you had such a great time and enjoyed our canal side seating and friendly service. It is also great to hear that you enjoyed both your fish and chips and your husband his steak - in addition to the cocktails of course! We look forward to seeing you again on your next visit to Manchester - perhaps this time you could bring your dogs along too?!Kind Regards, The Management Team

Beautiful Buttermilk Fried Chicken cooked to perfection. It's all about the Booze , Beats and Birds
As a confirmed KFC addict I can honestly say the food here is out of this world compared to other chicken establishments. The food is well cooked, flavoursome and a pleasure to eat. My only complaint would be the volume of the music and clientele makes it difficult to have a conversation.

It was 15:40 on a saturday, me and a friend was waiting for others to join us... so we sat in one of the booths with the bench seats with our drinks awaiting the others to arrive, having being sat there 10 minutes... a member of staff approached us and said we would have to move as the table was reserved, the table wasnt reserved at all... other tables where but not this one, so i oblidged and as i did do the crowd of about 15 plus walked over from opposite tables which is like one long table but i think its 3 pushed together, and said thanks for moving they need our tables soon... so whats that all about, moving on 2 people that was soon to be 8 to be replaced by 15 plus people... not happy and definately wont be in the bar again. We are so sorry to hear this. Due to the busy run up to Christmas we are extremely busy for Bottomless Brunch, especially on Saturdays. If you would like to discuss this further, please email us at;[email protected] Thanks,Emily

It all started here back in 1996 when Revolution Oxford Road first opened its doors. With intimate surroundings, an eclectic music policy and just a stones throw from Oxford Road Station and the Palace Theatre, Revolution is the ideal venue. Let the exper
Our first time visit here. We met our daughter here for a quick bite to eat before a show. Good atmosphere in the early evening. We were seated quickly and soon had a drink. The menu has a good variety and they kindly delivered the food at a certain time when our daughter arrived.Hubby loved the nachos starter. If you like a bit of kick with your food go for it! The burgers and pizza were also good.Big shout out to the loveliest employee, Issac. So cheerful and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. Heâs a credit to the company.HI Sunnymorningsforever, thank you so much for your feedback and for taking the time to write us a great review! I'm so happy to hear you had a great time with us and we look forward to your next visit. See you soon!
