Easily the best brewed coffee in this town, I tried out a few places around but this one came out tops, it is very modern looking place, very comfortable furniture, nice decor and of course great coffee. I'm not so sure about the fresh pressed juices that come in a bottle?
The Barn is a relaxed restaurant in the Puri Pai Villa serving a selection of dishes from burgers and fries to traditional Thai cuisine. They have a full bar and some of the best tasting (and looking) cocktails you will try in Pai. You can dine here in a formal atmosphere with seated tables inside, or you can take a slightly more chilled approach by laying on one of the comfortable sofa beds overlooking the Pai mountains â which really is quite a special experience and more of a 'typical' Pai relaxed environment. Watching the sun set here was amazing and you can catch it gently falling off the face of the earth and into the mountains.Overall a great experience and only a short 5-10 min car journey from Pai town.

A nice place for a beer overlooking the lake and the night market. There is a nice upstairs area where you can relax (free wifi, too) and a menu with a decent range of food, including a whole vegetarian section. The food wasn't anything special, but was perfectly fine if you want something a bit more substantial than you can get at the market (might particularly be the case for vegans, though the lovely lady doing the salads at the stall when you first enter the market (the end by the Wat) made a very spicy and totally vegan one for me when I asked her. It was YUMMY. The lady working at this restaurant was super friendly and made food for us despite being rushed off her feet. A decent place for a break.
It's a laid-back spot with straight-forward drinks and pub fare. Nothing fancy, but it has a great atmosphere with a lot of character. Writing your name on the wall makes it feel like you're a part of it, even if you're just passing through. If you're looking for a drink in Mae Hong Son, don't miss this stop!
