We're staying in St Anne's for a couple of nights and walked pasted here after parking up at Sainsbury's, it was a very quiet Sunday night but played nice background music and fair prices for drinks and food with friendly staff. Unfortunately my wife said that the ladies toilets we're the most disgusting one's she had every see to date so will not be returning. Hi.Thank you for your honest feedback regarding your experience last night. We're glad to hear that on the whole, your experience was good. I have recently taken over as General Manager here and it is always good to hear that you enjoyed the atmosphere and found the staff to be friendly.I apologise that the standard of the toilets was not what you would usually come to expect but I assure you, this is something we are focusing on going forward to ensure that every guest feels comfortable using our facilities and leaves the pub happy, having had a great experience with us.Please do not let this dissuade you from visiting us in the future, we sincerely hope you'll give us the benefit of the doubt and pop in to give us another try.Until then, thanks again for your review.Kind regards,JamesGeneral ManagerTown House

Regularly visit this pub, 2/3 times each month. It has a friendly atmosphere, plenty dining tables, bar space for those who like to socialise there and screens to watch your favourite sports. Both the drinks and dining menus are extensive and cater for all tastes, snacks & full meals, and very reasonably priced, so affordable for families with children. For us, it is convenient to pop in for tea / early evening eats , the food is quite basic which is expected for a family pub, but always good and we've never had a bad meal. The staff are extremely friendly , and attentive. So ...â¦.food plus a very reasonable bottle of wine provides the necessary ingredients for a relaxing few hours just a short walk from home. Good priced G & T's too !!

Where to eat Cafe food in Lytham St Anne's: The Best Restaurants and Bars

All day dining in a stylish restaurant right in the centre of Lytham on Clifton Square. Perfect for people watching from the outdoor seating with a crisp glass of white and a tapas selection. See the website for menu.
We had walked past Java earlier in the morning and saw it was quite busy but the food looked good so we decided to return later and have lunch. Wow, what a reception!! I walked into the almost empty cafe and stood by the counter until the chap behind the bar (owner, manager?) had finished dressing down one of the staff for taking a tray of drinks to the wrong table. He was clearly under some pressure but as the cafe was less than half full and there was plenty of outside seating I politely asked could we take the table near the front door for lunch? The answer - "all the tables are reserved and all the ones outside are reserved as well" which quite clearly they were not. Ok, I can accept that his kitchen may have been under pressure and maybe wanted a bit of respite but come on, politeness costs nothing, so next time maybe say something like, really sorry but the kitchen is overloaded and needs a short break so if you can come back in an hour. I can only rate the food on how it appeared which by the way looked very good.

Called in after an impromptu visit to the cinema next door as it was pouring down. Caught the restaurant at a busy time but we were well looked after by all the staff even though we hadn't reserved; they found us a table, quickly cleared and cleaned it for us and took our order. The place was warm, cosy, welcoming and clean and the food great value for money but shame we couldn't find room for a wicked pudding - gutted!Muppet46, thank you for your kind review; we are happy to pass along your comments to the team here at Toby Carvery Salters Wharf! Thanks again for taking the time to leave us this information about your recent visit. Take care!

Went here for dinner whilst visiting the 1940s weekend. We were a party of 4 and between us we had the lemon sole and loin of venison mains and the baked alaska and strawberries and cream desserts. We all really enjoyed the food and the service was excellent. Highly recommended.

Friday evening in the Station was a very pleasant experience . Great staff service: friendly and helpful anvery attentive. First course of an antipasto sharing dish exceeded expectations: good quality and nice variety (but bread slightly cold but I'm nitpicking. Main courses likewise pleased the party and when we go back we will be more adventurous. Friday night band very welcome Thank you for your kind review, we're happy to hear that you enjoyed your visit with us, we hope to see you again soon!
