Situated in the historic centre of Lugo, this family run bar, has welcoming staff and a varied and delicious range of food, including vegan options. Traditionally in Lugo, you receive two tapas, with every drink, however I recommend trying one of the raciones. A good standard of English is spoken.

El Mesón-merendero EL MAZO, cuenta sobre todo con comida tÃpicamente asturiana. Son magnÃficas sus fabes y su table de embutidos y quesos asturianos. El establecimiento sirve, tortillas, huevos con patatas, cordero asado o churrasco. Los platos más demandados por turistas y visitantes.
