Sandwiches, salads, tacos & tater tots, all offered with a fine little selection of local brews. This is a great little lunch spot. (Also, having driven past at noontime on Sunday, seems very much to be a popular place for Sunday Brunch, too.) Friendly service.

Good service, great food, local favorite. We had the chef's special 16 oz ribeye, cooked to perfection, served with mashed potatoes and asparagus (who does that?) and the pork belly sandwich which was stellar. Our bill (not including drinks) was only $26, which was ridiculously cheap considering the quality and quantity of food. Lots of good local beers and friendly service. A must do if you're in Livingston.

The food was quite good - between excellent and very good. The service was friendly but the waitress forgot to bring our drinks until we reminded her when the dinner was served. The outdoor table was nice. Desert was fantastic - chocolate mousse.

Dunno why the name on tripadvisor hasn't caught up. It's Glenn's. Don't go down the street to wait over an hour for a seat. This place was open and welcoming, but it filled totally by the time we left. Mostly locals, so they must know something. Great food, great salads, great service, even though these poor servers were running theiur butts off. Don't miss it.

I can only order the hamburger here...great plate of burger with all the trimmings, and cooked to order. Cash only, ATM in-house. Bar.

Staying in Livingston on business me and my comrades wanted to get some dinner and watch the opening NFL game. So we chose the Livingston Bar and Grill thinking that would be a lively hangout for the evening. However, this is more of an upscale dining establishment than a local pub. Now it wasnât a bad place but certainly not what the listing Or the name would have you believe. I would not classify as a bar. The menu was good, not particularly your average bar fare but some great items none the less. We had a party of six and so Iâm just summarizing our thoughts afterwards. Appetizers of fried eggs were very good and unique. Many in our party had the flat iron steak. Flavor was good but compared with other establishments in Montana the size for the price was small. The consensus on the Parmesan garlic fries was low. Different, didnât taste bad, but just not what a fry should be. Not sure if the menu had other varieties of fries or not. Had one who chose the hamburger, again flavor was good but portion was small for a bar and grill. Their pasta dishes fared a little better. One person had the shrimp pasta and was good and I had the bison bolognese. Good hefty portions, heavy dish. Wishing I had couple of slices of French garlic bread rather than thin piece of baguette but it was good. More than I could eat on hot day. Dressing selection for the salads was disappointing to me cause they didnât have thousand island. Canât understand why restaurants donât offer this popular dressing. Would of rather had a soup but didnât see any on menu or was offered by the server. Overall assessment is the food was sparse but tasty. Certainly not a bar restaurant as one would expect but more of an upscale dining establishment in mood, prices, and portions. I would return if I wanted to take someone out for a good dinner but not to just hang out and enjoy the game. Hello MT Traveler, we appreciate your comments. We are just a little bit upscale. We do make our own pasta and it makes a lot of difference. We are glad that you enjoyed the food. We also make all of our own salad dressings; hence the lack of thousand island. We hope to see you on your date night ;-)

Located in the heart of Southwestern Montana, the Livingston location was the original Chop House that began May 22, 2001. In 2004 we relocated a few blocks down from the original location to an old railroad receiving warehouse just a few feet away from t
We drove here from Bozeman at the advice of our innkeeper. We are so glad we did! We started with salads, and their homemade bleu cheese dressing is soooo good. I then had the halibut special and my husband had the famous fillet. Both were just awesome. Iâm not even normally a steak eater but my husbandâs fillet was so delicious and tender, even when cooked well done (his preference). Everything was terrific, the service, food, everything. Not a fancy place, as we wore our jeans, which we love. We split the apple cobbler with ice cream for dessert, and it was awesome as well. Just canât say enough about the experience here. Our trip will end in Billings and we plan to try their location there, I canât imagine how it could be better!
