As you pass by Newmills you wouldn't think a restaurant so near to Letterkenny could do so much business.it is about a mile from the outskirts of Letterkenny. When you come here after attending a local funeral you don't expect much. Normally these after affairs tend to be soup and sandwiches. Yes we did have soup but a main course as well. Turkey and Ham or roast beef. The beef was delicious and well cooked. The veg also, normally I find them to be over boiled and lacking in flavour. Not so in this establishment which I was informed is under new management. The one vegan among us had salad and it was very nice too she said. My wife who is a coeliac got a gluten free version of her meal. All round an excellent venue preferably for a happier occasion. The service wasn't trudged and staff very nice and helpful.

Backstage Bar & Grill is a fresh concept creating a space for you to relax, wine and dine with friends whilst indulging in our sumptuous locally sourced menu choices. A modern themed interior to reflect the design of a theatre with stylish private dining
During recent visit to the area we ate here a couple of times and was excellentMenu has something that will suit everyone. And food is resonably priced. Early bird you can do 2 course for â¬15 or 3 for â¬17 which is great value. I'd reccommend the Buffalo wings to start, amazing!Place is child friendly (part of the Century Complex) and kids get picture and crayons straight away to keep them amused.Sadly for my waistline the desserts are amazing too... you want to stop eating but can't.Overall great place, friendly staff and tasty food. You won't be disappointed.Dear MconorL,Thank you for your kind review. We are delighted to hear that you enjoyed your recent visits to Backstage Bar & Grill. We appreciate your kind words about our menu, value for money, our food and our staff. Please be assured we will advise our staff members of your kind feedback. We hope to welcome you back to Backstage Bar & Grill the next time you visit the area.Kind regards,Century Complex

Warehouse Bar + Kitchen is more than just a place to drink and eat. Guided by the mantra, high-end, low-key, it is the perfect mix of an intimate cocktail den and a social, comfortable, neighbourhood bar. Designed with an industrial feel, Warehouse Bar +
We were in on Sunday night for something to eat. Nice bright surroundings and a two piece playing acoustic guitars. Lovely atmosphere. Food, just lovely but the highlight of the night was the service from a young lady called Aoife. Her service was very attentive, she was lovely and very funny. I had started a joke about mushy peas and she quietly picked up on it. Let's just say that at dessert time, the joke was on me! It was hilarious, she just made our night. I really hope the manager (we spoke with the duty manager, lovely guy) realises what an absolute gem (s)he had in Aoife. As someone who has taught customer service, I realised it straight away. This young lady would be an asset to any front line business. I hope she gets her just reward.Warehouse, a great place to be, Aoife, the icing on the cake (or peas).

WE have eaten here on several occasions with our Irish friends whenever we visit Letterkenny this night was just the two of us and they had a steak special night on. The place was not as busy as we have seen it on previous times but was a few people eating. GIrl came for order within a few minutes, my husband decided on a ribeye steak with pepper sauce and garlic potatoes, while I went for the Ranch house chicken a chicken breast with onions, bacon and cheese with garlic potatoes also but decided against the salad. Drinks we ordered a pint of Guiness and half a lager and blackcurrant. First time in my 68 years I ended up with a pint of lager and black!! Food arrived a side salad(not ordered) no pepper sauce and husbands steak was sirloin not ribeye!!! We do not like to complain so apart from asking for absent pepper sauce we ate our meal. For desserts I chose cheesecake as most of others had cream which I asked to be left off needless to say it came to the table with cream which we did ask to be taken off. OVerall the meal was good as always apart from one or two slipups.

After a meh experience the previous night in the Mount Errigal Hotel Cafe Rendezvous, where they nicely decided to undercharge me for a few rounds, we decided to venture afar for dinner and Google directed us to this fine establishment.... Seriously how did we do all this before Google?Anywho....I was dubious about the shopping centre location but this was easily gone when we entered and found the place buzzing and busy on a Tuesday night which should be a good sign for the food.I ordered the black and blue burger and my partner had the chicken goujons with taco sauce. Both of us were impressed with the burger..... Drolling just thinking about it now.Dessert... Omg.... We had the double choc fudge volcano..... Best dessert ever and her good self wasn't able to finish her half so I finished it for her... Though she usually struggles with big things in her mouth I find.Overall, we'd definitely come back here when I'm the area again.5 starsThanks for taking the time to leave us a great review.Always great to hear that customers leave happy.Hope to see you again in the future

Very busy but seemed to have plenty of staff.Food was generally just ok but in price range wasnât expecting fine diningThing that took gloss off was service levelsStaff were extremely pleasant but place seemed totally disorganised. It took over 30 minutes after our starter plates were removed before main course was served and by then steak in steak sandwich was only barely warm. Asked for desert menu and after long wait had to ask another staff memberOnly time I think I didnât tip staffIn summary. Food was OK. Staff pleasant. Badly organisedDear Billy O,Many thanks for your review! I was sorry to hear that you did not fully enjoy your time here and I can only apologise for the service shortfalls you experienced. We'll certainly look into these issues to make sure we improve. All the best,Annette O'DonnellSales & Marketing Manager

We had a birthday dinner here for 4 people. The general consensus was that the food was slightly over cooked. I myself had the steak burger which was tasty and the reason I gave it 4 stars. Otherwise going on the other meals it would've been 3 stars.

Our hiking group (20 of us) had dinner at this establishment. Our room was set with 2 long tables which allowed for plenty of conversation time. We were offered a special menu that allowed various choices (starter, main and dessert) for our entire group. The service was hopping and smiling the entire evening. I chose the mussels (very good and plentiful), then the sweet cured bacon which was actually a pork chop and a desert made with seaweed. It was a great meal served hot and with a smile. By the time, our group was finished, there wasn't a seat left in the entire place. If in town, plan on the Yellow Pepper
