Our sewing group invaded the Irish rover for lunch. The waitress was friendly and accommodating. She even gave us individual checks. I had the cornbread sandwich which was piled with lean cornbeef. Very good.

In Manhattan in 1965, there was no place where people could go out to meet friends and make new ones in an environment that was at once both relaxed and yet exciting. Then, Alan Stillman opened Fridays as a way, he said, "to meet Pan Am stewardesses." Sud
I went to this TGIFridays with my husband and a friend. We were in a great mood and were joking around a lot. I ordered a pinot grigio and some apps. After my pinot grigio, I ordered a glass of champagne. We were munching on our apps for a while, and had been there about an hour and a half when the main courses came out. I said "I think I'll have one more glass of wine with my main entree." The waitress looked askance and then said "I don't think I can serve you another drink." I said "Excuse me? why not?" She mumbled something about only being allowed to serve "two drinks per hour." I said I had never heard of such a thing. I said "and I'm not even driving!" She looked around the table and said "well who IS driving?" I said "my husband!" He, by the way, had been nursing one beer the entire time we were there, which was a total of over two hours, and he didn't even finish it. She said she would go and check whether or not I was allowed to have another wine. Awhile later she returned with a third champagne (which I didn't want: I was going to switch to a red wine, but since she was arguing with me about the two drinks an hour" rule and nosing into who would be driving, that she didn't even listen to what kind of drink I actually wanted.) Now mind you, we had been there well over an hour anyway by the time I asked for an additional wine. I am now wondering if she thought we were intoxicated (we absolutely were not) because we were joking around and having a good time. May I also mention that I am 47 years old and my husband and friend are also in their 40s. It's not as if we were a bunch of college kids. We had zero drinks before entering the restaurant and had just come from a movie. I have NEVER heard of any "two drinks per hour" rule at any restaurant in my life before. I have never had a problem of any kind ordering wine at a restaurant and I have been eating out at least five times a week for the last 20 years. I would like to know if this is an actual rule or if the waitress was just being exceptionally judgmental. She ruined our afternoon and our good mood. I won't be returning.

We go here often. The food is great. Try the turkey club or chili. Both are favorites. My hubby had the pork and broccoli raab. He asked for hot peppers but didn't expect so hot. I loved that too! Friends had a huge tuna salad and a Reubin. No complaints just delicious. So many beers you will be in heaven. Plus, the barmaid will mix them so you have can try even more varieties.

I recently went to the Irish Rover and sat outside on the patio with a couple of friends. The food was good and the beers were cold. The waitress was very good and let us chat for a long time without being overbearing.

Party of four, luckily found an empty parking spot here (3/23). Seated right away overlooking the Rhine River. All was well with great service. Giant pretzel and pieroghies for an app, and more pieroghies, schnitzel, noodles, brautwurst and kraut for dinner. This is one great restaurant.

Even though it's in a strip mall it has a neighborhood joint feel. There are TV's everywhere to watch your favorite sporting event. Itâs a fairly large place with plenty of seating. Background music is really good; McCartney, Springsteen, etc. The service was fantastic and friendly. Our freshly carved roast beef sandwiches were loaded with meat and dipped in au jus. Delicious! The Kaiser roll was fresh and firm and it held together even with the au jus. The onion rings were perfectly crisp and not over battered. French fries were piping hot and the portion size was huge. Their prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get. Be advised, itâs cash only but there is an ATM on site.

This place has a great lineup of beer very knowledgeable bartenders and friendly servers. But I have to talk about are the fried pickles. Oh my god they are so delicious! Cruncy breading that is covered in the perfect amount of dill and fried to a dream like slender. I eat them and then think about them When I leave the bar. The rest of the menu is good too. But oh the pickles....Thanks for the rave review of our fried pickles! Happy to hear you've found an Isaac's favorite. Hope to see you back soon!

Red Robin is always good for a delicious burger. They have many options to choose from, along with the same options using chicken instead of beef. The menu is extensive, pricing is manageable, service is always good, but this restaurant has a big negative. It is right next to Sesame Place and can get very crowded and very loud. Otherwise it is a nice place to eat.

Great food! Great service! Cold beer! Need I say more? Try it...I'm confident you'll love it here! My fave is the filet mignon sandwich with onion rings and mushrooms. Arguably the best sandwich I've tasted in years but the menu is attractively extensive with something for everyone. This is not your average watering hole!

I have become very disappointed with Millers the last few times we went there. I was at several different locations even in New Jersey and Virginia Beach. When they first opened Millers was a go to place to meet friends or while out shopping. Now it seems they changed the quality of the food for about a year. Very disappointing.Good morning, Josie!
