While looking for a restaurant, I stumbled on this place after making the "wrong" turn. Fortunately, I decided to stop at this restaurant. The wait staff were kind, the food was excellent, and the restaurant was clean. I would have scored it excellent but I had to share my dinner with a couple of bees... it is something outside of the control of the management. Otherwise, very good experience!

Food was excellent. Everyone was satisfied with the food. We ordered schnitzels, flemnkuchen, and steak. Food themselves were 4 star worthy. However, service was slower than usual on this day. Some food came way later than others and there were mistakes with the order. However, still deserves 4 stars.

Not this time. A good âeating placeâ is recognized by the consistency of their standards. The sirloin steak we were served this time was not even bigger than an iPhone 6s (or a Samsung mini), it was tough to chew, unseasoned and not medium rare. And when you sell beef, you must be fair and consistent on weight and quality. This time it was a sad experience. We had really liked the place the first few times we had been there and had even recommended to friends. Well, I guess either the kitchen staff has changed or the management is not doing good business therefore has to make cuts on the portions they serve. Really sorry, but we can no longer recommend it. Taking 3 stars off from our previous rating. We might give them a chance for redemption a year from now, we are still digesting the steak.
I've been a few times on a sat night. Fun place to have drinks with some friends. The only bad part is how stuffy it can get with cigarette smoke.

These wings are amazing! We've been gone for 3 years back to the states and have missed Shawingz for 3 years!!!! No one else's sauces can even compare! Mango Habanero - do it do it! And then there's the price! 6 wings and those AMAZing fries for 6E! You can't beat it! I mean really! Those fries are killer. Don't skip trying those but insist they are crazy hot - that's when they're the best!

"A little piece of Ireland in the heart of Landstuhl"
It's not what I call a proper Irish bar. The food is ok. Very Americanised.Very busy. We we're looking forward to going to this place Not what we we're expecting as we heard great things about this bar. We love Irish bars and the atmosphere.

Within walking distance of the hotel. It was good food and drink, and I wasn't in a hurry. Friendly staff, although Lacking on service. - Felt like they were short staffed each of the several visits I made. Last visit, after 20-30 minutes, and seeing other tables being waited on just fine. I finally took the order for my whole table to place at the bar/register myself, they didn't appear offended, and seemed grateful for the help. The rest of the night went fine.

Recommended by a friend, we checked out Anchoâs recently. What a great meal! Fairly easy to park nearby and simple fare, we were happy to explore the ample menu with burgers, salads, chicken, pasta, and other Tex-Mex items - which had English translations. The service was friendly and prompt and the prices were completely reasonable. We tried the burgers and Blackened Chicken sandwich and the sweet potato fries. OUTstanding stuff - some of the best sandwiches in Germany weâd had. If you are hankering for some tastes from the USA, here is a great place to start. We look forward to returning and having some other items on the menuâ¦
