I also had a cup of their fabulous chowder!! Yummy !! I think Connie had a hamburger!! You have to go, for the experience!!Wow, this is fabulous! On an off-season Saturday, we could not find anything that was open for lunch. We went into the Cherry Lounge and found that their kitchen was open. The menu has many choices (sandwiches, snacks, burgers, etc.). There were only a couple of other customers so we had a chance to speak with employees, who were friendly and welcoming. We returned later that night for drinks. The bar was full of people and the TVs had the various sports events showing. The night bartender was also very friendly. The drink prices are reasonable and the chicken wings are AWESOME!!!! If you are a wing person, and are in Jamestown, you have to stop in and grab some.

Family friendly restaurant and bar located conveniently across the street from Northwest Savings Bank Ice Arena and The Best Western Hotel.
After being on a motorcycle all day we checked into our hotel and took a small walk to Shawbucks. The bartender (not sure of her name, sweet redhead) took our orders never let our drinks sit empty long. We didnât eat but he food we saw coming from the kitchen looked amazing.

As other stated, the service really needs to be better. Were there during the week and it wasn't adequate. They have a great location and patio area (except, honestly -- has no one else noticed the raw sewage smell on the patio??? Not constant but enough to ask us to be moved to the entrance side of the patio. When we commented to the waiter on it, the answer was "oh yeah - we get a lot of complaints on the smell from next door - ??!!). The nachos came out with the protein missing, but we weren't charged for it. I am giving it 3 stars because it could be great. Hoping the management heeds to advice -- fix the sewage issue and your service.

My mom, grandma, and I stopped in here for lunch. It was FREEZING in the restaurant, which is a big no-no for my grandma, but I'm so glad we stayed. The server was extremely friendly. She gave us recommendations for the most popular/her favorite dishes on the menu. My grandma (who's had three heart attacks) ordered her typical chicken tenders (because clearly she's a rebel). My mom and I decided to split two of the recommendations - the beef on weck and the meatball float. We both really enjoyed the beef on weck, but there was SO much meat on the bun it was a bit overwhelming. Neither of us could quite finish our halves. The au jus made the bun soggy immediately so it wasn't really the best dish to take home for leftovers. The meatball floatâ¦oh my god the meatball float. We LOVED this dish. It's so rare I find both meatballs AND sauce that I love so much. This place really nailed both. We both talked about how, even though my mom lives over an hour away, she needs to come back ASAP and get meatballs and sauce to go. For dessert, we were interested in the walnut pie. They were out, so we ordered a brownie. The server offered some caramel drizzle and walnuts to top the brownie and it really made the dish. The service, price, and food really impressed us and we'll be back.

Traveling on business in Jamestown and decided to try the highly recommended Forte. A small and intimate atmosphere with an eclectic menu in the heart of downtown, we each enjoyed a seafood entree - my associate had perfectly seared scallops on a creamy risotto bed and I enjoyed perfectly prepared salmon on a spicy, creamy risotto with spinach. Highly recommend.

I've been to this specific Applebee's many times, probably around a couple hundred. I'd say in a light most favorable to the customer, that if that number were exactly 200, my food was good here 195 times. The service is usually good as well. The odds of any customer having a good dining experience is about 95%.
So 11 guys walk into Group Ther-Happy without a reservation- after playing a round of golf - weâre thirsty and hungry! Pub food. Wings of course and a verity of pizzas to complement a good choice of sandwiches.I enjoyed a philly sandwich- which was on the pizza menu - but they had NO problem making a substitute to a sandwich- impressive- and it was very tasty!I tasted the wings they were good too.Because our group was large we did wait awhile for our food BUT it sure got quite when it was delivered. Everyone liked their selections.Definitely a go again place.

This is a bar/restaurant combo. A lot of locals here, which is nice. The wings are really good, lots of flavor choices and Wednesday is "wing night" with better prices. The "Pittsburgh" steak salad was good with crisp greens, a generous portion of steak and hand-cut fries. The house made ranch is a delicious garlic buttermilk mix. Not fancy at all, but comfortable. Staff have been very attentive when we have visited.

We were here with 3 other couples, and were lucky to snag a table under the roof, especially since there was threatening rain. That is really the only downside of this place, having enough covered seating. You order your food at a cash register and get a number to place on your table. They have a very good selection of standard type of bar food. My wife and I split a very large Reuben and shared a pretzel appetizer. The sandwich was very good and the pretzels were fresh, hot and excellent! You order beer or wine at a separate counter where you tell them which beverage and what size, then take it to your table yourself. There are of course the usual Southern Tier beers you see in bars or groceries, but there are several more that are either served only at the brewery, or with limited distribution. Take your choice from sort of middle (nothing light) to pretty heavy, with or without flavoring. There was a group singing on their musical stage, sort of so-so quality and a bit loud. But, its a bar.
