Reviews on Bar food in Lake George, New York, United States. When people find a great vacation getaway, they keep coming back. This 32-mile-long "Queen of American Lakes" is chock-full of lodging, attractions, eateries and just about any form of recreation you can name. A significant player in American history, Lake George is the site of two great forts, Fort William Henry and Fort Ticonderoga, both open to the public. Before plunging into the myriad activities in this family-friendly town, start off with a relaxing lake cruise to learn about the area. Then, take your pick of recreation: parasailing, fishing, diving, jet skiing, hiking, golfing, minigolf, horseback riding and more. If you've got kids in tow, you can't get away without visiting the Great Escape and Splashwater Kingdom, New York's largest amusement park. Hikers gravitate to the international trail system or Prospect Mountain, which offers panoramic views from the top; for an easier way up, hop on the tram. Among the cleanest and clearest of major U.S. lakes, Lake George is as splendid today as when Thomas Jefferson described it as "...without comparison, the most beautiful water I ever saw."

Meal was very good. I had a Bruschetta Chicken sandwich, which turned out to be a nice combination. Fries were good. My wife had soup and salad.

We decided to try dinner here after checking the menu online and seeing several gluten free options available. We were so glad we tried it! The atmosphere is fun as it is decorated as a forest, complete with trees, lights, sounds, leaves and birds, butterflies and owls. There is even a player piano that all of the children in the restaurant enjoyed watching when it played. The service was great. Our server, Dylan, was friendly and very attentive. The entire service team seemed to work very well together. The food was also very good. My husband and son enjoyed the bottomless fries and the spinach salad with grilled chicken was great. Cheers! We're glad that you enjoyed your time at the Moose Tooth. We hope that you'll stop back again the next time you're in the area.

Since 1991 we've been smokin' and sauce slingin' so we know how to cook - and treat barbeque with the respect it deserves. Our sauce is homemade in our kitchen in Lake George, NY, and our meats are seasoned & cooked to perfection. Ours is some of the best
We were in Lake George earlier this month and looking for a place to eat. This BBQ place popped up on Trip Advisor with really good reviews. we probably should have kept looking. To be fair i am from the south and have a picky BBQ taste. i like all kinds. vinegar, mustard and the basic red sauce. this place had pulled brisket. i dont think i have ever seen pulled brisket. normally it is sliced with no sauce. this pile came out to my wife pulled and heavily sauced. it was okay. the slaw was actually quite good. my pulled pork was also heavily sauced and was okay. my main question is why dont all bbq joints have fresh cut fries? the fries served here were frozen and not even crinkle cut. i normally follow 2 rules of BBQ. a pig on the sign and a smoker in the back that is smoking. this place had neither. i only have myself to blame for this average meal.Sorry we were only average. We offer chopped brisket as well as sliced brisket, I am surprised you didn't notice it on our menu. We normally serve natural fries but the end of the summer we got away from them because we were so busy. Last but not least we have a wooden carved pig in the front and two smokers going every day. Also, surprised as a BBQ connoisseur you didn't smell the smoke aroma.

Located in the heart of Lake George Village, the newly renovated Lake George Beach Club is bringing great food and drinks to the waterfront. Stop in off the street, beach, or dock your boat and enjoy the best view in Lake George. Enjoy LIVE MUSIC all summ
We visited the Beach Club for Welcome Drinks on Friday following my son's wedding rehearsal dinner and then for a Farewell Brunch/Lunch on Sunday. The Owner Jose and Manager Tom were both extremely accommodating. I can not say enough good things about how we were treated. We had private areas each time. They threw in a few extras as well. The food was outstanding in every respect. The location is great and right on the water. If I lived nearby this would be my go to place for sure. I know we will visit the area again and we will definitely visit the Beach Club.

Staying nearby this was a logical and within walking distance. Menu is not large but just enough to for a lunch or even a lighter dinner. Not a lot of staff on duty but we had no problem getting our food and beverages.

Brewpub located in the heart of Lake George, NY since 1999. Focused on producing great craft beer and delivering a great experience! OFFICIAL DOG POLICY While we love our four-legged family members, due to NYS Health Code Mandates, dogs are not allowed in
We stopped here first for a late afternoon lunch and were immediately seated. The burgers were excellent!!! And the clam chowder was very good. We decided to try it again for dinner the following night (Saturday). We called ahead to make reservations and were told that if we called again 30 minutes before we arrive it would lessen the wait. Well that didn't work, we called continuously and when we didn't get a busy signal we got a message that said the hostess was busy and to call back later. Abandoning that approach, we set off for the Pub and when we arrived after 8PM we were told that there is an hour forty minute wait. We decided to wait but saw many who went elsewhere, After a little over an hour we were seated. The food was as good as before, but our server, Tim, came off as a little snarky. Now remember, this was in October in the off-season and there still were a lot of patrons on the waiting list. Maybe there are few good restaurants available in the off season which increases the demand for the venue. The one suggestion I would make is to just say "no reservations" instead of the call 30 minutes ahead instructions because it is very frustrating when it doesn't work!Thank you for your feedback and we're glad that you enjoyed your visit so much, you decided to come back. This past Saturday was our busiest Oktoberfest celebration to date, and that could have been the culprit for the very long wait and busy signal. However, that is the reason that we have our call-ahead seating option and we will share your comments with our management to see how we might be able to handle that better. We do hope that you'll give us another try down the road.

Enjoyed a lovely birthday meal here, great choice of food even for my daughter who is a vegan. Equally the food was very tasty for meat eaters and the portion sizes were large. Service and booking was great too. Would definitely recommend.

Excellent place. Great waiter, too. Scallops appetizer was absolutely scrumptious and worth every penny. Beyond Burger with caramelized onions was tasty and Adirondack Orchard salad was excellent and very filling. The food was very fresh and portions big. Will definitely go back. Dear Lizistrata,Thank you for joining us for dinner. Chef Thomas has created a fall menu that has a wide appeal for all our guests and includes option for vegetarian and gluten free needs. The Adirondack Salad is one of these new options and we are so happy you enjoyed it. We have daily specials and hope you are able to stop back to sample them soon.Sincerely, Laura
