This pub/restaurant offers a high standard of food for a pub. The staff were attentive and the menu offered many options as well as a childâs menu. The lightning was bright and could have been dimmed for a better atmosphere. We would go again for straight, simple, uncomplicated food.Good afternoon DayTrip694433Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, and also for the nice comments you have left, which of course will be shared with our teamWe would love to se you again in the near futureRegardsPhil

The Frozen Mop in Mobberley is a country pub & restaurant oozing rural charm and rustic character. Our picturesque surroundings provide the perfect backdrop for savouring the hearty, seasonal pub-food on our menu, and the carefully nurtured cask ales and
Booking by automated system which was a bad start. No option but vegan gravy on the roast in an attempt to make everyone happy that has clearly failed me and the food was merely ok. No facilities whatsoever for smokers. Glum looking staff. Hi PhilThanks for your review. On the automated service as stated if you press option number 2 you can come straight through to the pub and book that way. The vegan gravy does satisfy most of our visiting guest and this is first for me in hearing someone did not enjoy it. Please, if you visit again do not hesitate to ask to speak to a member of manager at the time, instead of us hearing for the first time on trip advisor that you did not like it. We would happily of solved the issue for you. There are ash trays on outside tables and one at the front door of the pub also.If you care to discuss the matter further please feel free to give me a call and press option 2.RegardsStuart

Haven't been to Knutsford for a few months but always go to The Wine and Wallop. Went again this evening - wow, this place just seems to get even better all the time. Gavin, the chef, is definitely at the top of his game. The duck dish we had was nothing short of amazing! Will be back on our next visit. Thanks you, Kevin, for taking the time to share such kind words. We strive to do our best and it means a great deal to hear that we succeeded. We look forward to seeing you here again. All the bestJustin Parkinson

Family run pub in the heart of Cheshire, conveniently located just o Junction 19 of the M6, on the A556. The Smoker is a 427-year-old coaching inn, open continually since 1497. We have a wide selection of traditional beers, wines and spirits served by our
Called today (Saturday ), late lunchtime and four of us had super meals. Friendly staff, good service, excellent food served piping hot. The portions were large and the prices reasonable. Would have no hesitation visiting this pleasantly decorated Inn again.Thank you so much for your lovely review we look forward to seeing you again soon

After lovingly restoring Knutsfordâs Town Hall, The Lost and Found is now one of the central pillars within the community. Discover and you shall find a bountiful selection of seasonal food, as well as signature tipples to satisfy all your drinking and di
I have left this review for some time before posting. I didn't want to write in haste, and wanted time to mull over our thoughts of the evening. However, we had pre-booked a table. We stood upstairs where we had been directed and were left standing for quite some time. Only when we approached the bar did we find a member of staff to assist us. Ordering drinks was confusing as the staff had to 'run downstairs' to get what we wanted. Therefore they took ages to arrive. And because it took so long to get drinks. It was too long before our food order was taken. To say the food, when it arrived, was average would be a compliment too far. It was far less than that. It was over cooked and dry. The place looks so inviting from outside. But the food lets it down considerably. We will not repeat this visit anytime at all.H there, Thanks for sending us your feedback regarding your visit and let me start by apologising for what looks to be a poor experience. As you have rightly pointed out we have had to fetch some drinks from downstairs as our dumb waiter is (or was) out of order, leaving us having to transport drinks upstairs if it is not something we stock on our smaller upstairs bar - this has come at a cost and has affected your experience negatively so please accept my apologies for the wait and subsequent impact on the food service times. With regard to the food quality issues you have described again I apologise and I hope you can see from our other reviews that this is an isolated incident that certainly does not represent the usual quality of our food - I would be very appreciative if I could speak to you personally, if you could send your number to [email protected] for my attention I would like to make things right. Kind regards, Jack Arksey - General Manager

The staff were excellent, friendly and efficient. We had sesame sausages, battered cod and halloumi salad. it was OK - couldn't say really good! The noise was high we couldn't hear ourselves speak. There were large groups in and its always difficult if the bar downstairs is busy as it was. ( Saturday 7.00 pm ) The food came too fast and we had finished 2 course in 55 minutes! Hi Dianep,That you for taking the time to write a review about your visit. I'm disappointed to hear you didn't find your visit as positive as you'd have liked. I do hope the pace of evening hasn't put you off from dining with us again. Please come again soon.ThanksTom

Had lunch there yesterday. Chose from the light bites sandwich based menu. Food came very quickly and looked like it had been thrown together. Chips under cooked. Beef on sandwich almost raw and too tough to eat. Outside eating area swarmed with wasps and no attempt use the usual deterrents. Bar person offered a tab to be set up and then kept my carder duration of the meal felt like a criminal. The food has definitely gone down hill from a couple of years ago

Six of us went for a birthday celebration. The landlord welcomes everyone and the atmosphere is great. We all enjoyed our food - probably the best we have had in a long time! We would definitely recommend The Dun Cow, but it is probably best to book because it was really busy. Thanks very much for you reviewRegardsCurtis

We were staying overnight in the town while travelling further south. Not sure where to eat and drink and basically stumbled across The Rose and Crown while wandering. We went in initially only for a ârefreshmentâ but we found the staff so welcoming and the overall ambience so good we stayed a while! We had a great chat with the clientele and when we asked a good place to eat in the town the recommendation was where we were sitting.Great choice, lovely food and very reasonable in price. If in Knutsford give The Rose & Crown a try.

First time visit to enjoy a family Birthday Party. Not a big pub, but nicely appointed with a good atmosphere and excellent menu. Although there were over 20 of us, the management organised tables, so that we could all fit in the front dining room. We ate from a special 3 course menu, which had a good variety of options. The food was well presented and of good quality; the service was exemplary. We had an excellent afternoon, so well done Bears Paw and hopefully it won't be too long before we return. RecommendedDear Mojoblue717,Thank you so much for the incredibly kind review! Itâs pleases us all to hear how much you and your party enjoyed the food and service. I cannot lie, squeezing 28 people into the main room was a bit of a task, but we relish the challenge! I certainly hope to see you and your friends & family again in the not too distant future.
